The Still House — Restaurant in England

The little wait for service was certainly worth it. Tempted by the great value bacon baps and coffee we were really impressed with the quality of the produce and the perfectly cooked bacon bap delivered. It's always a gamble with a bacon bap... what you receive could be lifeless cheap bacon in a dry roll or something entirely different. The Still House bacon bap is expertly put together and is a top quality 5* style bacon bap. The sourdough bap is very light but has real substance to every bite. The thick cut bacon was amazing with crispy melt-in-the-mouth rashers and with the first bite I was stunned by just how perfect this bacon bap was. Walking through town later I saw numerous bacon rolls offered at cafes at a higher price and so this is definately worth a stop by for breakfast! The still House is a remarkable venue with great local well cooked food and a modern chilled vibe. The owner Brendon is lovely and provided me with the perfect venue to hold my eldest sons wake (He would have loved it).  With complete understanding of what we wanted and the perfect secluded venue for 50 people. A lovely gem on the Paignton harbour, it's been tastefully renovated and has amazing views over the harbour and bay. It's currently serving 'nibbles' - chips, calamari, sharing platters and an extensive pizza menu (see the photos of today's selection).
