We really enjoy visiting this lovely little museum. It is not a big place, but it is packed full of information about the history of brick and tile production in Bridgwater. There are lots of lovely examples of the items that were made at that and other kilns that were in the area. The kiln itself is fascinating, it's wonderful that it's been preserved and we can now walk around it and look inside it. The museum offers many activities both for children and adults, all related to working with clay. There is a small charge for activities, but that's covers the costs of the materials they let you use. I highly recommend these activities, they are always great fun and the kids have made some lovely bits out of clay. The activities are very popular though so you must book in advance on the website. They both went above and beyond to help my children and chatting to them and helping them with hand washing, putting aprons on and showing them the different activities.
