Although not frequent, we are quite regular customers who have always brought our family when they visit and and have recommended to many friends. The food has always been of a very good standard and the service exemplary. Sadly, when we visited with friends on Wednesday, one of our friends was not happy with his lamb shank. We three were unaware of a problem when he left the table to fetch a member of staff. I was therefore not a witness to the conversation but I could easily see that the lady was not happy when she came to look at the meat which we later found out was impossible to cut through. There was no charge for this meal only for the three others that we all enjoyed very much. However the usually courteous staff made it quite clear that they did not like this complaint and did not bid us their usual farewell as we left. We all felt very uncomfortable and sadly we will not return. Our friend spent many years in the Hospitality trade and always behaves extremely professionally. It is a shame but I feel that, on this occasion, the Green Olive...
Read moreVery disappointing! Looking at the reviews me and my husband were actually excited to go and eat at the Green Olive Meze Restaurant but we were let down twice by the bottle flat slimline Tonic in our double Gin which on the 3rd attempt they brought us an actual can of slimline tonic which obviously wasn't flat, now maybe you should of thought of bringing me the can in the first place rather than been cheap and serving me flat tonic from a bottle! (waitress excuse was it's the ice cubes making it flat)
I ordered lamb chops, mashed potato and veg I think I got given three of the smallest chops in the world with literally a tiny piece of meat on and frozen veg, the gravy came out cold 🥶
My husband had lamb neck fillet all he was given was 4 tiny pieces of meat for the price of the actual meal was ridiculous.
Me and my husband eat in lots of Mediterranean restaurants and they have been all really good experiences but this one truly takes the biscuit.... we...

The food was quite average with small portions and taste that could have been much better. We ordered a lamb kleftiko which was lacking in salt. A chicken dish with 4 pieces of meat. We told the waitress and she was quite accommodating and brought out an extra few pieces which was good but remarked that 4 pieces was normal. Quite a stiff charge for such a small portion size. The service was okay with some improvements possible - slightly slow at times. Slightly more costly than what we were expecting given the portion sizes and quality but otherwise a nice evening out. Oh and great chips! (We took food away as the baby started to create a fuss and the mum was...
