Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Standard costa coffee establishment on the edge of a shopping development. Loads of car parking, short walk from various other shops and a large Sainsbury’s.

The place was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and welcoming, food supplied by M&S which is a bonus in my opinion. Good selection of cakes and bakes.

Outdoor seating available but due to the vicinity of the car park and major roads can feel like you’re sat in the middle of it. Free Wi-Fi available, it does get very busy at times so try to avoid peak times.

Selection of comfy seats, standard chairs and tables available, PowerPoints available for laptops etc should you need them. Toilets available.

This is no means a nasty criticism and I’ll always enjoy coming here. A few times over last two weeks, I’ve been served the takeaway cups when I’ve wanted to sit in. Reasons why I’ll not ask or justify (maybe dishwasher has broken) so it’s fine. Just be mindful the paper cups are bit flimsy and be cautious. My friend took her drink and hot cappuccino poured on her thankfully didn’t scald. Saw an elderly guy coffee lid that came loose and it went all over the floor too creating a hazard

So I was just being served in Costa, then a customer decided to come up and ask for a decaf coffee instead of a normal coffee (pre order) whilst I was being served. The female member of staff who wears glasses (didn’t catch the name) then stopped serving me to then reserve this customer. So I’m stood there waiting for another member of staff to come and serve me, instead this member of staff is too good at looking busy instead of serving customers!
