Visited for my anniversary meal with the breadknife, love the setting of this restaurant! It’s in an old building that has been repurposed for Prezzo with a glass roof in the main seating area (they should replace the rather grotty glass with some stained glass). There is also a seating area as soon as you walk in with views out over the walking street. The menu is standard Prezzo chain which is actually really good. I had the posh pepperoni pizza which was delicious. Service is fast and efficient and the staff were great. I had tiramisu for dessert which was also delicious! Toilets are upstairs just by the entrance where you walk in. There is no parking for the restaurant so you will need to park on the street nearby or in one of the town car parks. We parked at the cinema as we watched a film beforehand then walked through to Prezzo which is only a short walk. Parking at the cinema is free after 6pm. Based on this experience I would certainly recommend a visit.

Cavernous restaurant inside the old Corn exchange. Strangely, this rather detracts from the sort of ambience you might expect. It is easy to feel lost in such a huge space. Intimate, it is not. The rather old and scruffy tables and chairs, unadorned with any sort of covering, only add to the sense of desolation. The food was very disappointing. Tasteless and served on cold plates, our choices from a very limited and unimaginative menu were small and the chips, which resembled closely those from a McDonald's medium meal, soon went cold. The service though was very good. I couldn't recommend this restaurant as being value for money, unless you were starving and everywhere else was closed.

We ate here on a Friday night it was quite busy but not bustling and the restaurant is a beautiful setting in an historic old corn exchange building . We ordered the hummus with flatbread for a sharing stater which was plentiful & tasty and a pizza each for mains. My tuscan bbq chicken pizza was delicious, my husband ordered “the spicy one” but it was a bit underwhelming with not much ndjua or pepperoni so definitely lacked heat and spice. We opted for the cheapest bottle of wine was overpriced but it was a very nice red and easy on the palate. Service was good our server was helpful & friendly and as we got 25 percent discount off the total bill it wasn’t too badly priced.

Our first visit to Prezzo Bridgwater. We couldn't see a disabled entrance so used the main entrance to the side of the building. The place is amazingly beautiful in architecture. We decided to eat in the back room rather than the glass rotunda and were not disappointed with the architecture there either! Unfortunately the staff have had American training for waitressing...Hey Guys! Very fast food establishment etiquette! When I was trained as a silver service waitress we were only told to address people as Ma'am or Sir. But I digress. I know it was a "special event evening" but the tables were so close together that you could join in with each others conversation 😅 Our waitress, Marta was lovely and very pleasant to chat with. The food was ok but nothing special and certainly not worth the final amount. The drinks were even more expensive.. even in a cost of living crisis £10 for a beer is ludicrous. Would I go again? Maybe for lunch but not sure about a special...

Terrible service. We arrived for a bottomless brunch at 3pm we arrived a little early at 2.55 we didn’t get our first drinks until 3.11pm, we were then told we weren’t allowed to order any more drinks until our drinks were completely empty. We emptied our drinks and then the new drinks would take 10-15 mins to arrive. At the start we were served with the most attitude like it was a problem us being there. Our food came which was lovely, but again another 10-15 min wait for drinks. The bottomless brunch clearly states 3pm - 5pm So we ordered our last drink at 4.55pm and was told NO.! So I spoke to management and was greeted with absolute rudeness! She said well you did arrive before 3pm I said yes but we didn’t get our drink until 3.11pm she didn’t like my answer and said well we will give you the drink this time… I told her to forget it and we won’t be back and she said ok really cheery and happily.

We won’t...
