St Denys's Church is a grade 1 listed building. St Denys is featured in the 15th century east window. The mediaeval Staind glass windows are some of the oldest in York. The church was rebuilt in 1798 and altered in the 1800s. Parts of the church are Norman, and it is thought it was built on the site of a Roman temple.
