I come to Stanley Park nearly every day with my dog,it's easy to park in the café car park although only small it's best come early if eating there but you can park just before the main entrance via the sports facility car park there is an overflow parking and it's inside the park right next to the café path .lots to do in if you bring your own picnic to sit and enjoy.there putting fir all and a crazy golf ,also the boating lake to rent a boat .there's the lake walk which is lovely fir spotting the swans and herons and the many large turtles,an enjoyable wildlife walk for the children and adults alike fir super photos.all parking is free .There's a super adventure course but please inquire re booking it online .there is a free children's big playground ,and if bring your bike or boards there's a free skate ramps also .You can ride the park if your on cycles too .

The drive upto the car park is impressive, wrought iron gates and a tree lined avenue. To the left the impressive rose garden an amphitheatre of colour. On the right the pitch and putt golf course and at the very end is the magnificent art deco cafè were afternoon teas are a speciality. The cafe also serves hot meals, sandwiches and cakes, plus it's licensed too if you require an alcohol infusion. Walk out of the front of the café and there Infront is the fountain and either side of the steps down to that are bronze lions on stone plinths. To the left of the fountain is a very impressive boating lake with walks around it. Once down to the lake on the right is a bandstand with seating infront which has music playing throughout the summer months. A great green space only a short distance from Blackpool town centre. It is also convenient for Blackpool zoo.

We visit here regularly and it's a wonderful park. So much to see and do. The play area is huge and suitable for all ages and abilities. There is even a swing for disabled children. The sand pit there is also great for children. The gardens are very well maintained and the flower displays glorious. The cafe is grand and the menu is varied. Our favourite area is the lake itself. On last count we spotted 53 swans! Amazing after what happened there with bird flu. Obviously very happy birds. If you follow their page on Facebook you will be able to see all the wonderful events they have on in the park. There is something for everyone, from live music to book clubs and dog walking groups. In the school holidays this is ramped up to the max for the children and we enjoyed a few of the events such as a lovely little circus skills session a few days ago.

my wife and I and two friends had a day out at Stanley Park . I must say what a stunning place this is we was a bit out of season as the beautiful flowers had not come up yet Nor was the boating lake open . Nevertheless we had a lovely walk round in the midday sunshine. Ideal to take a picnic just to sit on the grass and take in the view. The Only thing letting Stanley Park Down was the disgusting state of the public toilets. very little within the way of toilet roll . No hand soap in the dispensers . And the baby changing area had cigarette tobacco all over it . The floor & wall tiles were disgusting. This area of the park is just neglected and needs shutting down for a deep clean. But the Park itself is well worth a visit. If you are in Blackpool itself you will need to drive or get a taxi as it is a bit out the way

Brilliant park my katie found in blackpool, we visited here mostly for the skatepark and had the best time with the boys, look forward to coming back here but it's not around the corner for those in wigan or bolton, if only we could have a stanley park with all the trimmings closer to home lol, a great day out with so much to do you wont know what day it is😝 lots of parking around the park and even better that it's free!!!! Always grateful for that, ice cream trucks, shops and even a sainsburys supermarket near by if like me you'd like to stock up an save those penny's, highly recommend so what are you waiting for⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ have fun, oh and it's a stones throw from the sunset park so we even get to see the parents😳⭐️❤️ 2 birds with one stone I think the old phrase is correct me if I'm wrong🌈

There's plenty to do there for all the family, from the play park with toys for all ages to boating on the lake. There are ducks, swans and geese to feed on the lake, a beautiful Italian garden with Roses to sit and be peaceful in. There's fields for dogs to run, crazy golf and a nature area with squirrels running about. Right in the centre is a lovely fountain, surrounded by grass and lovely borders with colourful flowers. For the sporty types there's the football pitches and tennis courts. If you're hungry there are kiosks dotted around with burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, coffee, tea, soft drinks and ice creams. If you fancy something more, there is a beautiful art deco cafe that serves cream teas and hot food, near the fountain.
