My 9 year old enjoyed this place after a visit to the cinema. Initially though we couldn't work the clips out and it took the parent of another child to show us. Likewise when the time was up we were waiting a while for a member of staff to come and remove his harness. The staff didn't seem very attentive, apart from being reminded of the time coming to an end, then when the time was up, despite not having a full hour climbing. If you can, book in advance online as it's cheaper. We booked a slot around 30 minutes in advance and it was still cheaper than paying at the desk. My son loved it though and no doubt we'll be back.

Staff were really good inside, did a quick safety video and away we went. They were quick to help when you needed it but didn't get in the way. They noticed that a young lad kept climbing the sphere things, they are connected but have 3 or 4 climbers around it, kept climbing across onto my girls side and crossing their ropes so reminded him to keep to his area of the climb, so they're pretty decent on their safety.

My kids been here a few times before and enjoyed the sessions only this time traveled from the other side of durham to get there as my daughter really wanted to go again the lass behind the counter said she was having g trouble with her iPad and asked me to scan the leaflet and book online only to get to the payment part and the system doesn’t give you options for Apple Pay or phone pay and unfortunately i havent carried my wallet since well before Covid as everything’s now mostly on our mobile phones I explained this to the staff and explained that in the i line registration it had held the placing for 9 minutes to pay so I simply asked if I could swipe my phone at the counter I understand it wasn’t the lasses fault she was having problems with her iPad but for me they either should have had a wired Wi-Fi point to garentee a connection or some other plan for when things brake down my daughter was gutted time wasted fuel wasted and been told it is what it is pretty much summed up...

Staff were friendly however management were very abrupt and unhelpful , paid £15 for my daughter to climb only to find out once the training video started for an extra £5 you could have done clip climb , soft play , and golf for that . We raised our concerns with management , and asked could we pay the extra to do all of the above , only to be told no , with no explanation . Even asked for refund , then we would pay the £20 to do all the above , answer again no . No leaflets or posters or even the check in Desk could have made us aware of this , no advertisement at all . Quick to take money , then customer service went down hill from there . Management let this place down , well if you can call them that more like kids with the power gone to their heads , ran by bunch of school leavers ,...
