We booked to stay here at the hotel and restaurant as a family after an emergency caused us to temperalary have to leave our home. So this was a long stay of 9+ days
I need to express my gratitude to one member of staff called * Caryn*
She was completely devoted to making the traumatic time we were going through as smooth and comfortable as humanly possible. Caryn went out of her way to help myself, partner and children with anything we could wish for or need. If there wasn't space for us in the restaurant she would kindly create some somehow! Need anything for our room, straight away it was provided! Caryn treated my five year old sons needs as if they were her own childs! Nothing was ever too much trouble and ALWAYS carried through with a smile!! What a fantastic asset of a member of staff to call theirs at the Beverly!! Caryn I hope can be awarded and acknowledged by your management!!
Were already planning a return stay as we were sad to be leaving!
Fantastic food, atmosphere and prices are completely hard to beat!!
Huge thank you to all at the Beverly hotel especially...
Read moreVisited for a drink while my wife met up with some ex work colleagues. Its a lively pub with an excellent variety of beers, lagers and ales. There is a small car park at rear of hotel and plenty of indoor seating. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Did not have any food so cannot comment but the wife who did eat said the food was excellent at a reasonable price. The only downside was the outdoor seating. The overhead tree's was shedding bits of it's flower in the wind that was getting into your food, clothing and drinks. It is a real nuisance as it was a lovely evening to sit out but impossible to enjoy and in the end decided to leave. That is the reason I marked it a 3 out of 5 stars as it spoilt for me what should have been an enjoyable...
Read moreWe stayed at the Beverley for one night, we came to Cardiff to see Sting in concert at the Castle. We booked well in advance and chose The Beverley because of the location and a reasonable price for a bed and breakfast. It didn't disappoint. We had a nice double room, which was clean and well equipped with a lovely walk-in shower. The breakfast was good too. We were fortunate to park in the car park at the rear, which was secured at night with a hefty steel gate. The Beverley is on Cathedral Road, which is lovely. There are homes dating back to when Cardiff was the richest port in the world. The city centre is less than a mile away. You can walk in easily and walk back safely. We love Cardiff, and this weekend was amazing. We look forward to...
