I recently had the pleasure of taking the Stirling Distillery gin tour and it was an excellent experience. The highlight of the tour was the gin tasting, which was truly amazing. The tour guide, a knowledgeable and helpful female, made the experience even more enjoyable.

The tour started with an informative overview of the history of gin and the gin-making process. We then proceeded to the distillery where we saw the gin being made and got a chance to learn about the different botanicals used in the production process. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the gin tasting, where we got to sample several of Stirling Distillery's award-winning gins.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about gin and was able to answer all of the groups questions. She was also very helpful in guiding us through the tasting process, explaining the different flavors and aromas we should be looking for.

Overall, I highly recommend the Stirling Distillery gin tour. The experience was top-notch, the gin was delicious, and our guide was excellent. Whether you're a gin enthusiast or just looking for a fun activity, this tour is definitely...

A great place to visit, this is a small distillery and when we went they were producing whisky not gin. There is not much to see in the distillery but Ruth our guide for about an hour and a half was very knowledgeable and explains the beginning of gin right up to how this distillery came about and it's owners. There were 8 gins to taste with an explanation of how they came about and the ingredients used for each. We were looky there were only 4 of us on the tour one of which worked there (shows how much the staff loved the place) the small group made it very personal and even more enjoyable. I was the driver, it cost me £15 and for that I got a small bottle of gin, a bottle of tonic and a dried orange to take home. For the drinker it cost £25, BUT there was £9.75 taxes and fees added (which overall makes it quite expensive). You do get 10% off if you buy from their shop, they also have a bar you can get...

This visit has been a disappointment. If it is your first tour of a distillery, it might be ok. Unfortunately, when compared to other distillery tours, this one is not worth the money. It is just a talk about the process, tasting of 2 whiskeys (smaller amount than in many other distilleries) and then a very quick look into their small distillery room. The staff seems to be not very experienced, however they are ok unless you need something. I called them with an enquiry and they just hung up the phone in a middle of a sentence. Not a behaviour I would expect (moreover towards a guide who brings them customers). If you forget something there, it gets discarded immediately after the visit so it is not possible to retrieve it. If you have a chance to go to another distillery, do not waste your time and money here. It is not worth it. There are much better distilleries even with...

We stumbled upon this distillery as we planned to go to the castle but it was fully booked due to the limited number of spaces due to Covid. And we are glad we stumbled upon it. We were welcomed by Jade who gave the 3 groups an indepth history of gin and also how the gin is created at The Stirling Distillery. We were very impressed by her knowledge and she always had answers when we asked her random questions. We enjoyed the tasting so much so that we bought a lockdown gift bag for my sister which had various gins in there. Are we bought the standard Stirling gin and also the mango liqueur for ourselves. Great to see a small company grow and in such a great building. They even bottled up what we were given to give to the drivers amongst us. Well worth a try for an hour or so.
