The colourful beach chalets on Scarborough’s North Bay!
Our traditional beach chalets are located on the promenade in Scarborough’s magnificent North Bay where the beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag status for several years, an award only given to clean beaches with facilities such as lifeguards, showers and paid toilets on site.
Available for sale or hire, our beach chalets are perfect for a fantastic day on the beach with the family. Each chalet comes with deckchairs, kettle and a sink and has a great sunbathing area where you can top up your tan, have a BBQ or while away the afternoon. Or make it a base for your beach paraphernalia while you enjoy the many local attractions.

Deckchairs, Kettle, Toaster, Fridge, Microwave, crockery & cutlery. Water & electric are also included.
Where to park?
All-day parking available all around the Marine Drive & Peasholm car park is a short walk away.
The traditional beach chalets are located on the North Bay promenade in Scarborough North Bay.
If you walk round past THE SANDS complex towards the beach you will see the chalets.
Each chalet comes with 4 chairs, small table, kettle and a sink and has an area at the front where you can sit.
Our chalet is just after the shower/toilet block and is easily accessible for pushchairs. It can be used from 7am to 10.30pm.

But none the less due to not being offered any alternative or opportunity to change or rebook, instead of wasting money spent we made the most of it.
The walk down to the challet was longer and then was greated by more steps than anticipated so my mum with mobility issues really struggled. 😕
The challet was reasonably clean, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke 🚬 and the smell of drains coming from the shower basing was not ideal.
But in all the challet was reasonably well equipped with items you may require for a day out...

Watching the dogs and children play on the beach on a autumn day was delightful. Our quest to eat and enjoy fish & chips whilst walking around the area was not to be. Could not find a fish shop open.
