Pleasant open space by the river Wey, not far from the centre of Guildford. Great for dog walks, as the trees on the riverside path offer plenty of shade in the summer months. The landscape is mostly flat wetland ground, with a striking contrast provided by the sandy riverbank. The ruins of St Catherine's Chapel up the steep hill on the west side of the river make an interesting diversion from the waterside path.

It is a really lovely place to hang out with friends, family or even with your pet! We came visit here on Easter Holiday with wonderful weather 🐣☀️☀️🌤️ everything is just so perfect to us! We brought our food and drinks to here enjoying the sunshine and chilling out with our cat. She looks very joyful and relaxed too. Very lovely place 💓

The Cheese & Chilli Festival is a great day out for all ages. There's a wide variety of cheeses and chillies to sample, live music and cooking demonstrations, and children's entertainment. It's a fun, family-friendly event with something for everyone to enjoy.

This is an amazing space that should not be taken for granted. It has beautiful lawns with walks through to Weyside taking you south to Godlaming and North past Guildford. There are toilets which are very clean. Ideal for picnics, ball games, has cycle paths and great for both sun or shade. There is a new climbing frame...
