Not too far from the car park to get down onto the beach. We took a shorter path with steps but there was a longer path that led down to the far end of the beach (only just wide enough for a cart/pram).

There are quite a few surfers around as well, right the way through the year. Not surprising though, as the beach is spectacular and the waves can be quite big.    Read moreBeach may have been clean and lovely, but the 'rock pools' (that were just a big rainpuddle) that we went to didn't look very clean compared to the beach, and my brother fractured his shin here while paddleboarding in one of the 'rock pools.' It traumatized us and I can't detach the experience from here. That's why its 2 stars.
