Water Gardens Harlow — Attraction in Harlow

We chose Water Garden Harlow as we would like to find a shop which is closed in the nearest direction to our hometown so we drive 22 miles and get in a few traffic but we thought it would be worth having a go as it is rare to find Robert Goddard shop open, we checked website of the shopping centre, and was looks like it's open, we check shop website and Facebook all seems well to the moment when we walked to the shop and what we are closed your nearest shop are Bishops Stortford 😡 shame because in overall seems to be very nice place, well looked after but we sacrificed lots of time to get there and come back while we would spend this time doing something else plus petrol to find shop closed. Disappointed...

Water gardens are good for what they are and where they are. The parking is good and not expensive, around 50p or 1.5£ we normally pay.

There are some not bad restaurants, but it still lacks quality. I would say all restaurants are at best average, we cannot really risk eating there too often. For example We do like pizza express there, and food is good if cooked properly, but service and chefs are hit or miss.

It’s a nice addition the charging stations for electric cars, but they can be frustrating when they don’t work. Only few work properly, others somehow don’t manage to charge your card. This is extremely frustrating.

So 4 stars are generous, but we have to remember it is Harlow and not...

AVOID THIS PLACE currently resurfacing car park on the upper leval outside Matalan /TKMax, signs up when you reach parking saying limited car parking which is clearly obvious, No Apology for inconvenience. Add to that payment machines outside Matalan not working and long queues, I ended up paying £1.40 for a 10p parking charge, I was informed by a member of staff that he was unable to give me a cash refund he just took my reg number and said I would be ok, as I did not trust him I paid again for today's parking as I did not want to receive a fine for non payment, this place is a joke I was told this is the way forward for parking, clearly not with so many upset customers today -...
