We had an awful experience in this shop.

I noted all the reviews refer to the quality of the products which is ok. We however were greeted with a 'what do you want' shouted from the back and in a rather patronising manner. Rude staff and poor customer services really- sadly not rare in the neighbouring shops located in that street. If you manage to swallow what they sell- make sure you don't choke as a result of the service you receive. Hopefully there will be some room for reflection and improvement of customer care- this is not the way to...

Love this place! Been coming here for years Pasties are spot on and a good size. Today though, I bought a bacon slice which was deilicious, good quality bacon the right amount of cheese and not too rich. The quiche I also bought was the leek and Cornish yarg. This was one of the best quiches I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly seasoned. Still moist, gooey and light even though I reheated it slightly. We were attracted to this Café by a sign in the window offering 'Fresh Crab Sandwiches'. But what we were given was a grey mayonnaise sludge on dry bread hidden in a carton with a napkin on top! We took them back and were told that this is 'a local preference'!? REALLY!? The second lot we were given looked more like fresh crab meat but the bread was still dry.
