I have been going to Crown Point for many years and found that it has a decent choice of shops and generally I have been able to buy most things there. I have never had a problem with parking other than finding a space, until a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to do as much of my Christmas shopping as possible and due to an increased volume of like minded people, I went over the 3 hour limit - as I said it had never been as issue before! I was quite surprised therefore to have a £60 parking charge through the post yesterday. I am absolutely disgusted by the fact that I had spend a considerable amount of money in TK Maxx and I''m being charged for the privilege. Very greedy developers have designed this place to attract shoppers and diners but you can only stay for three hours or they'll be chasing you for a £60 pound parking fee. If they are that desperate for a cut of the revenue this place is generating I would much rather pay a parking fee up front and choose to make the most of my time there (what it has been designed for) than be abused for taking my time in what should be a nice customer orientated environment. The retailers on site are enjoying money in their tills, they should therefore be promoting and supporting their patrons not just taking their money and facilitating their...

Read moreI love the Crown point shopping centre, it one of my favourite shopping centres. I love all the shops there, I could spend all day there, infact I usually do, it's just a bit difficult because you can only park there for 4 hours, so I only spend the day here when my husband drops me and my sister off and picks us back up later. I once parked there for 4½ hours and got a ticket, but the problem was I'd been taken poorly in one of the shops, and we didn't make it back to the car, it was a bit difficult for my husband trying to get me back and my mobility scooter, but I explained this to the parking ticket office, and they dropped charges,so it was all good in the end, that's why he drops me and my sister off, he said it better that way, but I know its just an excuse to get out of shopping. Right rant over sorry about that, but please could disabled parking have more time please.😊 Back to shopping, I think I like all the shops at Crown Point, they's a good variety of them, all of them with disabilities access, I can get my mobility scooter in most of them which is e really good there's not many places you can say that about. As I said earlier I could shop...
