A mixed bag
You can order from any of the various offerings from your phone using the QR code on the table. We ordered chips and a sharing pizza from the same place. The chips came out very quickly and the waiter that brought them was very helpful, and asked if we needed anything else.
We then had to wait 25 minutes for the pizza. The waiter that brought this out plonked it down (on a metal cooling tray) and walked off. We had no plates or cutlery
The problem is, because you order from a QR code, once your food is down no one seems to take responsibility to check of you need anything else. After trying to catch the waiters eye and ask for plates and cutlery I eventually had to just walk over to someone and ask them. But 5 mins after being told he would get some plates, he hadn't. I ended up walking over to the kitchen and picking up 2 plates from the pass....
The pizza itself was a bit strange. The cheese was crispy and the anchovies were more part of the sauce than a topping. It's only recently opened but they really need to iron out...
Read moreMy self my wife and son visited today, short wait of 15 mins to get in, we were showed to our seats by the staff, theres no menus to look at you have to scan a QR code off the table then flick through to complete your order, my self and my son got a nduja and cheese sandwich, very bland absolutely tasteless, I didn't even finish it, how can you get this wrong? My wife ordered a birria tacos which turned up 15 mins after myself and son had finished eating, it was more like a birria soup (but no birria) more like a beef broth, again very bland and tasteless. If you are half a decent cook you can create a lot better food at home and not get ripped off for a £60.00 bill. The only good thing was the drinks. They need to really up their...
Read moreMixed bag it’s a beautifully designed place, thought the security guy was lovely who greeted us as we walked in and advised on food options. As always with Leeds the usual suspects on the beer front which is sometimes disappointing to see when there’s so many great offerings out there and a chance to do something different. Food was poor and we’ve all ended up with sickness throughout the night. Not sure which vendor it was from but we had the Malaysian food which was very average. Pizza was ok, but wouldn’t be in a rush to try it again. All in all quite disappointing for the first food hall in Leeds...
