Puptopia — Attraction in Leeds

We really enjoyed our first visit! Our dogs can be reactive to other dogs, and we wanted to have a totally relaxed hour where none of us had to concern about the appearance, or behaviour, of other dogs, and we had read great things. Very organised set-up, with clear instructions. Delighted to find a (very clean) portaloo! The views are lovely, and the dogs enjoyed the variety of open field, steep bankings in the woodland, logs to jump on, and stream to run up and down in. We had some goes with agility equipment, and more jumping on high things (a hit with the Romanian princess who LOVES to be up on high!). Lots of obvious dog bins, spare bags should you arrive unarmed, and spare ball throwers if you need one. Even though it was raining during our visit we still had loads of fun. It's definitely the biggest dog park I've been to so far and the fact it had a portaloo was amazing! The woodland area was very raw and natural which was lovely for the dogs to explore. My youngest didn't want to leave and had to be wrangled back into the car once our hour was up. The only thing I felt it was missing was a couple of picnic benches as I'd love to hire the place for 2 hours and bring a flask of tea. Edit: I was having so much fun with the dogs I completely missed the picnic table, I'll be sure to pay more attention...

First time visiting this amazing park and wow, they have really thought of everything. Our pup loved sniffing about, sprinting across the large field after a ball and splashing in the stream.

So much thought and care has been put into this dog park, it is like no other we have been to. There are brightly coloured bins and poo bags around the area, agility equipment, dog treats and toys, training leads and even ponchos, umbrellas and dog coats for bad weather days. And a portaloo.

We have already booked a return trip and will definitely be making this a regular adventure day out...
