Today I was accosted by an off duty security guard who claimed he worked there. I needed to walk to the Amazon delivery locker just inside the entrance, so I pushed my bicycle towards the locker. I probably should have folded the bike up and carried it I suppose - I offered to do this but the man refused to let me collect my parcel, even though we were just by the locker, or even fold up my bike, so it could not be ridden. My bike is a small fold up bike, I am no threat to anyone and while I attempted to explain my predicament the man threatened to have me thrown out in a most horrible and hostile fashion. I felt he was about to actually attack me, so I left. His actions served no purpose other than to delay me, I cycled home to find a bicycle lock, return and collect my parcel. When I returned I folded my bike and carried it in, straight past two people with highvis security coats on - nobody complained - but this time I had my lock just in case.
Waterside - if this man was a genuine security guard, why do you let them be so small minded? Are they actually allowed to do this...
Read moreTreated very badly by Waterside management after expressing my deep concern that one of the âcraftâ stalls was filled with cheap Chinese made unicorn horn headbands and knock off hair ribbons and bows that broke so many copyright infringements the list was a long one. The cheap contents of the stall damages the entire image of handcrafted goods and for such a supposedly reputable location you would expect much better.
The Waterside centre is always clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and polite. The variety of stores is generally a good mix and the fashion available caters for all ages and body shapes. You can find food and coffee on the lower level and wheelchair access is excellent with a lift providing access to both levels. The toilets are clean and tidy but try to avoid the lunch hour rush as a...

With only one quality stand (not storefront) that yes it's kinda expensive but it's things you'll expect to see that pricey, I grew up knowing this area was purely beneficial to those on benefits for clothing and stuff, now for me, it's just a thoroughfare that's mediocre for when it's raining, oh and did I forget to point out that there's only the front and side entrance, no back side, and pretty appalling third level space what was much more user friendly for eating in the waterside at Burger King and cafe Nero, yeah the improvements 'look' nice but they've certainly failed to ask the actual important people, us the shoppers, what we prefer to have and how...
