Beautiful city to visit and the people are very friendly and helpful. For me it felt like home from home. What confused me as they have two bus stations, one down by the docks. I never got the opportunity to visit the pirate 🦜 pub on the docks. The library at dock I would recommend, there you find out about history of the city and beautiful buildings.

We were travelling from here to Belfast to visit relatives, using Stena ferries. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the port and their efficiency booking us in and loading our car. We were on the ferry before 9 pm. for the 10.30 sailing. This was good because we were able to find our cabin and sort things out before we left. Rating it as a boater. Nice mooring secured pontoon. Water on each pontoon and 240v hook up, which is great. Incredible atmosphere, right in the centre of this historic Dockland area.

Downside, toilets a 15 minute walk away, no elsan, no pump out, although you can request a pump out boat. If the crt could install a couple of toilets somewhere a bit nearer it would make the...
