Nice, tidy and comfortable refuge in the heart of this vibrant city that I recommend for travellers who like to take a break in the fresh air and a relaxing, relatively calm and charging atmosphere. There are quite a few benches available here, plus bins for the trash next to the seating areas. Good place for a short stop, consuming some snacks, lunch or other meals like a sandwich and hot coffee. Its advantage is that it's located just a couple of minutes walk from the very heart of the city, the Lime Station and shops/shopping area. I can recommend it.

St Johns Gardens is a beautiful and calm oasis in the centre of Liverpool's Cultural Quarter is in an area remarkable for its concentration of public buildings. Running adjacent to William Brown Street which has The Museums and Walker Art Gallery as well as the former Sessions House, St John Gardens is overlooked by St George's Hall.

With benches to sit on and a serene atmosphere, it's a peaceful escape, even with a touch of traffic in the background. It's the ideal place to relax and soak in the beauty of the garden.

Looked forward to taking the kids to the Christmas markets and fair however needed a bank loan for both! Couldn't really call it a fair, the whole 4 'rides' were basic and extortionate but being the Mother I am I made the best of it for the kids! Food was delicious but again ridiculously over priced.
