I can't actually believe the experience I had here last Sat 16/11/24. I ordered 2 different pannini's for myself and partner. When the first girl came, we politely told her that both orders were incorrect and attempted to show her which ones we ordered. The place was loud so there may have been difficulty understanding but it was almost as though the issue was at ours. The girl then walked away with the food and we assumed she would be returning with the correct order. A second girl came over and said "are you the people who changed their order?". We explained that we hadn't changed the order and that it was the wrong order, we were met with frustration and were accused of being rude, we where in no way Rude, a 3rd staff member approached us while we where chatting amongst ourselves again met with sheer rudeness and telling us that "wr couldn't speak to staff like that" we and our friends became confused about what was actually happening when our right order eventually arrived this is what it came like.. tell me this isn't the original pannini they got wrong and that this wasn't done on purpose ! Plus I had to pay the extra £1.52 for the bacon I Know I ordered only to be re-served inedible food!

Please can you pass this to the editors of the whetherspoons in house publication. I think worth a share in print... I am a wetherspoons officianado. I travel around the country for work as a surveyor for easyStorage. Liverpool Lime Street has to be the most civilised I've ever er visited in the network. Customers are so well mannered that they actually form a single line at the bar. (Never before in the field of wanting a pint have I witnessed that). Staff shine (Tyler and Aaliyah in particular) , the building is like stepping back in to the Victorian past with its tall ceilings and furnishings (Eat your heart out Royal Covent Garden). What can I say? Possibly the best pint in the country!

Strangers to the area and in need of a very late lunch we stopped here . Turned out to be a Wetherspoons chain pub. The food was not very exciting and we were completely confused by the ordering system. However, the building itself is absolutely magnificent, as in its heyday it was a very grand hotel used by trans Atlantic passengers who boarded the great liners at the nearby docks. Wetherspoons has taken over the entire ground floor and it has been sympathetically refurbished in the style of that period. There are lots of different dining areas with lovely period features, murals and posters featuring the liners. The food may not be great but the surroundings certainly are.

I give this a one star for service, as I found the staff to be basically dishonest, rude and down right argumentative over something one of them got wrong. Wow what a disastrous experience. Had a fab weekend for my daughters hen party and called here before heading home. Ordered face to face with a bar person. American style pancakes with the berries, came without. Already paid for the meals, pancakes just came with syrup asked for the berries and was told WE ordered wrong and had to pay 69p yep 69p for the berries as WE had ordered wrong. I asked that they provided the berries as it wasn’t our mistake. Well, a young lad argued and basically said we wouldn’t get our order without paying the 69p. Even the female manager said where do we think the 69p would come from if we didn’t pay. My daughter in law (who ordered them) had a refund and they refunded the correct amount for the American pancakes with berries which we apparently hadn’t ordered, work that one out Mr Wetherspoon 🤣😳 one of the staff even put on a body cam yep a body cam what a joke over berries !!!!!! Such a shame to end the weekend on. Then I left my phone in the loo had to return for it and thankfully there was a very honest person who handed my phone to the staff. So thanks whoever ever that kind person was, because the Staff need to take a leaf out of...

Went here tonight for first meal out in ages with house mates, had vegi burger which was lovely and staff were friendly bringing drinks, obviously it’s different with rules at the moment so asked staff what time they would need us to leave, they said we had until 11pm, then at 20 to 11 they were coming round saying finish up because they close at 10:45, we had a drink to finish so drank and tried to go the toilet before we left. At quarter to 11pm we tried to go to the women’s toilet which was locked, my friend asked the manager and he let her use the disabled toilet, I waited and tried to go next, by this point it was 10:45 so technically they were still open, the manager said sorry but I was not allowed to use the toilets, I explained I had ate a meal and had drinks there since 9pm and just wanted to use the toilet before I went home. He said I should of gone the toilet at 10pm which was last orders??? Wasn’t aware of these rules. Found them really rude and just wanted to rush us out. Surely they could let customers use the toilet before it closed. Won’t be going again and really disappointing as been before and it...
