The Penny Lane Shopping Centre — Attraction in Liverpool

This is good if you need a few bits. Theres a home bargains aswell. My main reason for this review is to ask our city council to wake up from the switch they are asleep at.. Why on earth did you approve the botched job on our sergeant peppers. They stripped it of its valuable heritage. Beautiful etched mirrors and leaded glass work & The sign outside. Its been left like that for years. People come from all over the world to see penny lane. Im from the Dovedale road area and remember it very well. Now we have a painted penny lane sign and a ripped apart sergeant peppers. You told him years ago that he had 12 months to sort it out or you was taking it back. TAKE IT BACK. Its an eyesore. Called into asda got afew drinks and afew bits. Queueing up to pay at the kiosk which I do everytime I go in there. until a member of staff with red hair moved us to a till which we had to wait twice as long. Then we noticed he asked an elderly lady with a trolley with 3 items in her trolley to move to another till. The lady just left her trolley and walked out the store. Good on her! As we got served I told the cashier what had happened and she apologised and we said it's not her fault but his. This is an easy to park shopping centre, with all the main household items sold, apart from clothing and shoes. It has a pleasant sized Costa, with a modern looking pub at the entrance. There's a vetinary surgery, too. If you are time constrained, then this is the place to get your main household items, as the distance between parking and walking around outside and inside shops is not that far, compared to the mega supermarkets or shopping malls. Even in busy business hours, I have never found the queues inside the shops to be that long. Even the pigeons are posh,...
