Boots — Attraction in London

This pharmacy is terrible - there's always an issue with my prescriptions! Once in 2021, I had to wait 2.5 hours for a prescription, and after that, I switched to the pharmacy at the end of the high street. Unfortunately, my usual pharmacy closed early one day, so I had no choice but to send my prescription to Boots. I called to confirm it was there and was initially told my doctor hadn’t sent it, even though they assured me it had been. After calling again, the prescription mysteriously "appeared."

When I went to collect it, the pharmacy staff were rude. One lady tried to publicly humiliate me in the store, repeatedly shouting loud for the whole store to hear that my doctor hadn’t sent the prescription correctly and that she had to retrieve it from another system. How is that my fault? If my doctor advised me it was sent, that’s all I know - I can’t control what system they use or how it gets to Boots. It was unnecessary and embarrassing to be spoken to like that in front of others especially when i am not feeling well and would only like to be in and out collecting my prescription.

That said, the shop/retail staff who don’t work in the pharmacy are absolutely lovely. They’re always helpful, friendly, and professional—it’s such a shame the pharmacy service doesn’t match their level of...

Awful customer service. Not friendly, not kind nor caring. Wanted to buy nappies. Price said £6 sale, found out it was for other nappies that were sold out. Picked the £12 one's by mistake, due to poor/wrong item placement. Asked if they had any cheaper ones (it was my first time in the store here), and was told "This is what we have". Maybe show some customer support? Not everyone knows where or how much each of your individual nappies cost, especially if there's a member of staff who could helpfully suggest where to look. Went in to buy some behind the counter flu medication and then got interrogated by this young male pharmacist telling me what I should and shouldn’t buy. I told him from the beginning my partner who I was buying this for had a terrible headache in which he at first disregarded and then later on was proving to me what this medication was used for in which one of the main things stated good for headaches.
