Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store is what it is. It used to be a good pharmacy with staff on the shop floor and customer focused till operators. Now it is cut back as much as possible, offer the minimal of service and let the punters do the leg work.
Went in today and a queue at the tills, no staff on the main tills just one dealing with all the punters in the self service tills. The queue was becoming a bit chaotic as more people wanted to pay with cash rather than card, there are more only card tills. If the cash tills can do card then why not make them all like that. It's for your ease not because you take customer care seriously and think customers are important. So I am waiting in the queue for cash only. When I finally get to the till the last says "you have to go to the main tills for the marked down items". Of course I should have realised that with no signage whatsoever and also no one at the main tills serving, silly me why did I expect the barcode sticker to work on the self service tills. If only I was born with ESP.
So I go to the tills and the lady who told me to go to the tills said she would be over in a minute. So now my wait is extended due to me not knowing that the new barcode on the products I purchased did not work on the self service tills. Maybe Boots you could put a sticker saying the price and take to the main tills? It would be really kind to those of us that have mobility issues and don't want to queue twice for a service that we should have been aware of without any information of.
Well as another reviewer rightly said, Superdrugs over the road so that's where I will go.
I don't know why people write reviews here really, including me, because I can see they don't care about...

Well I asked one of the ladys, she was hanging a basket walking around, instead of responding in a good way as I tried to say hello, she said Iām busy with another costumer⦠5min wainting and looking around for another person, guess what? She said the same. Waited, as soon as she finished I asked for the product I was looking for and tell them the website show they have stock, the other lady next to her tell me straight away to order online then. I said NO, thatās why Iām here because I like to buy in store and keep peoples jobs. They made a funny face and say sarcastically Thank you for keeping my job. and everytime I talked to them they seemed that they were mocking of what I was telling to them. Only today with the products I needed I expected to pay around Ā£85 or more⦠didnāt want to spend any penny with their actitudes. I use to spend more than Ā£100 or more a month in products for all my family and me and if i need to buy perfumes in that store will be more than that for sure. But clearly from now on Iām not...
