It’s official!…….I’m now part of the first class family……and this is just the beginning. The service you get with a First Class ticket is absolutely impeccable…..truly impressive.

Coming from Economy to Premium Economy, it’s not even close when it comes to service & what you’ve paid for.

You see First Class starts the minute you get into the Private Lounge area in Heathrow airport. I thought it was the minute you get on the planešŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤” I was so wrong.

You would think the people who go through First Class are the typical business, high end laptops & constant mobile chatting individuals. Far from it……well just a few laptop executives.

Here’s a great tip!šŸ‘ when you check in First Class……oh! and by the way, security screening it’s about 5-10 minutes……that’s right!…….5-10 MINUTES 🤩 🤩🤩 you are treated as a VIP even though, I came through wearing jeans, cap, jacket etc. I am not the suit type, so if people didn’t like the way I dress? Tough it’s my time to have fun. We need to remove the stigma of executive mindset of First Class. That’s why British Airways doesn’t stigmatise on how you look…..hard to say this, but they will treat you more important based on your ticket you’ve purchased with them. Were as economy, you can’t please everyone. But First Class not only will you get treated better, you’ll also giving the airline a profit, and I think BA profits are based on First Class passengers numbers. There’s no question & it’s a no brainier, I will be flying First Class, because if you get First Class treatment, why wouldn’t put a positive Google Review. Last time I’ve checked, I’ve had 119k views, because when it comes to Google Reviews, it’s positive with photos.

Another great tip!……make you FAST….YES…..FAST!šŸ¤” coming in on an empty stomach, because the minute you step in the First Class lounge……YOU EAT WITH YOUR EYES…..BEFORE YOU EVEN GET ON YOUR FLIGHT! And that’s what I did. The food has to be light eatable because it’s Michelin Star āļø recipes. However there’s a help yourself buffet, make sure you’ve got some room for the in flight meals šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹. Check out the menu I’ve attached…….DO YOU STILL WANT TO TRAVEL ECONOMY?šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”. I discovered the B gate lounge, in Terminal 5, by accident a few years ago and I'm so glad I did. It's quieter, with more ambience than the fairly crowded ones at the main terminal.

I visited the BA Lounge again last week before my flight to Dubai and was very impressed at the new refit (much needed), and the service team.

The wonderful Len was the perfect host during my recent visit there and he went out of his way to ensure I had an excellent experience. I was a bit glum before I entered the lounge and Len managed to turn my frown upside down with his warm hospitality and service.

The new Whispering Angel bar looks great. Sadly, I'm not a big rose fan so I didn't taste the wine but there were multiple people trying the wine from that section.

Len kept me topped up with champagne! The lounge has a good selection of white and red wines, and beers / spirits, and soft drinks.

They have a new food service station in the lounge, where the serving team prepare the food of the day in front of you - the team there were charming and welcoming.

The rest of the food was ok and it would have been better to have had a bigger selection but it was a late flight so maybe thats why the offerings were a bit sparse.

I think the other lounges need a new refit to match the decor / layout of gate B, along with a few more new lounges in Terminal 5 as the ones in the main gate (north and south) are unbearable at times with the busy-ness.

Big shout out to the team at the Gate B lounge,...

Flying home, we departed from the B Gates at Heathrow’s Terminal 5, which offered a more peaceful and less crowded experience compared to the main terminal area. This quieter location also meant that the British Airways Galleries Club Lounge in this section was less busy, providing a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Upon arrival at the lounge, the staff greeted us warmly and were attentive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring a smooth check-in and a pleasant experience overall.

The lounge itself was well-maintained, with clean facilities and a spacious layout. There were plenty of comfortable seating options, allowing travelers to unwind and relax before their flights. The ambiance was calm and inviting, ideal for a restful break during travel. As it was still morning, we had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast in the lounge. The food selection was excellent, featuring a traditional English breakfast with a variety of quality options. The freshly prepared meal and well-stocked buffet added to the overall positive experience.

Overall, the B Gates lounge provided a quieter, more pleasant alternative to the main terminal lounges, making it a great option for British Airways passengers looking for comfort, good service, and a solid...
