Vegan Review Wagamama have a great product which is perfectly consistent no matter where you go in the UK. A light lunch in Wagamama’s Cardinal Place while working felt like the right place to eat. The music inside was too noisy to take a call and certainly not a video conference. But outside on a quiet table to one side, I had good WiFI from Wagamama and was able to make my calls. With them out of the way lunch was a no duck donburi with a high five drink. No duck donburi - it was exactly what they said it would be and looked the same as the menu too. The shredded seitan and shiitake mushrooms in a cherry hoisin sauce would have meat eaters second guessing if it was real duck or not. I loved it. The brown rice was nutty, the edamame beans had a bite, the kimchi, shredded cucumber, spring onion, gaz oakley had a refreshing and light flavour to the meal. The egg wasn’t a great addition (having had Yo Egg). The white coconut was too cold for the meal and the sriracha yolk didn’t pack enough flavour. The garnish of fresh coriander leaves and sesame seeds certainly made up for the egg and left a nice lingering taste in my mouth. The High Five - a refreshing blend of melon, pineapple, lemon, apple and orange took the edge of the hot sunshine. Would I go back - oh yes Would I recommend - yes

I tried Wagamama today for the first time because I've never had a proper ramen before, and when I was greeted by this huge bowl of incredible looking food I knew I was in for a treat. I greatly underestimated just how much of a treat this was going to be. The broth was rich and deep with a good hit of chilli that wasn't over powering, the ramen was cooked well, the chicken was flavoursome and the pork belly. Oh the pork belly! The fat from the pork dissolved in my mouth like a thick unctuous sauce that filled my senses with flavour I have never encountered before. I felt goosebumps up my arms and down my back, I felt like I could cry. It's rare for me to find food that makes me this genuinely happy and sets my senses ablaze like this, but this did it. An all round perfect perfect dish that made my entire day. This was memorable x

I came here for a solo lunch before heading to the train station. It’s within walking distance and a good alternative to the restaurants there. Typical Wagamama seating, however, the place lacks a bit of atmosphere. I sat at a table for six near the window, which was quite nice as it can get crowded in the middle of the restaurant. I could see straight into the kitchen, which was okay. They do have an open kitchen as well. Service was fabulous; I had a really lovely and attentive waitress. The food was really lovely. However, I paid £20 for a beef brisket ramen, which is on the pricier side. All in all, I spent £30 on my lunch, having had two drinks. A simple lunch for quite a lot of money. The flavour was good, but overall, not completely worth it.

Last Christmas, 2022 we received a £100.00 Wagamama Gift-Card from a very special person in our lives, who is Japanese & who lives in Japan. Before deciding which restaurant to choose (Location) I decided to check out the Reviews .... I read through tons of them & I have to say that if we hadn't rec'd the GC I don't believe we would have ever chosen Wagamama!! I honestly read many, many horrific reviews, in fact, the majority were absolutely appalling & from many different Wagamama locations; comments concerning everything from the customer service to the food itself .... even one about how the MANAGER was witnessed, psychically shouting at a lady who was with her young children!! .... I appreciate how we all view the service/experience we receive in different ways but that's just NOT acceptable, from a member of staff; let alone the Manager. No matter what the circumstances! I have worked in the Customer Service sector for, pretty much all my life; where back in the day, we were frequently sent on Customer Service/Relations courses... and not just once, We were taught how to look after people & how to behave in all circumstances & situations... like you NEVER react in a negative way ....EVEN if the customer IS abusive & obnoxious AND even if you're right & the customer is WRONG!! If they're RUDE you are NEVER rude back...That's a Rule of Thumb!! You just smile NOT scream!! Sadly, it appears that these days; affording the correct training of staff doesn't seem to happen so much! Back to my Review... Sorry!! We decided on the Cardinal Place Wagamama at Victoria, London. With me was my husband, our son & his girlfriend too. Well, what a pleasant surprise, after all those horrendous reviews.... My husband & I were welcomed by a really lovely young man...I believe his name was Bhavin (Hope this was him?) There were no available tables but he apologised & asked us to have a seat (Just inside) he also offered us some water while we waited for our son. After just a short wait, our table was ready. Our initial waiter was Alex, who was also really pleasant ... very helpful, polite, attentive & with a lovely smile. Throughout the entire evening we found the service to be excellent. Later on when we were getting ready to leave a young lady, Bav (I believe she was a Manager) came over to speak to me as I had asked if there was any way they could help us by making contact with our friend who had originally gifted us; as sadly, we had lost contact with him as he had moved house. (For now that request is still with her). Overall. the entire evening was a complete success... for myself, the food was not really to my taste but that's just me! ... All the others thoroughly enjoyed it though. From noticing the place was heaving, one could clearly see that Wagamama is extremely popular. My only request to Wagamama HEAD OFFICE is that they READ ALL their REVIEWS & follow up the BAD ones, with staff who may require further training. Whilst at the same time, ensuring that they PRAISE their staff who regularly give 100% excellent customer service. Thank you, once again to Bav, Alex & Bhavin at...

Spending a few nights in London and having already had a good experience at the Wagamamas restaurant at 11 Jamestown Road, Camden I decided to visit this restaurant with my wife. The first member of staff greeted us outside and was very friendly. As the restaurant was not busy he offered us the chance to choose where we wanted to sit. We were left for a few minutes with the menu before a different member of staff came over to take our order. We ordered a drink each and then the starter of tama squid and chilli squid and mains of chilli ramen with chicken and pad thai teppanyaki. We asked for the starters to come out first. Within what seemed like 2 minutes, the starters came out so we began eating those. Literally 2 minutes later the mains came out while we were still eating! Both times the food came out not once were we told that they hoped we enjoy the meal. Now to talk about the food. The starters were nice, hot and well cooked which was amazing seeing as it was cooked so quickly. Before we could start eating, my wife did have to go searching for some cutlery as there was none at our table. The main dishes were however a different story. The chilli ramen was like luke warm dishwater which had no flavour to it. The noodles were just about cooked and there was very little else in the bowl of chicken stock other than what only could be described as a few bean sprouts and some tasteless pre-cooked ready to eat chicken, the sort you’d get from a local supermarket. I needed to add a lot of soy sauce and chilli oil to give the stock any kind of taste. Next up was the pad thai teppenyaki. What we were given could only be described as a bowl of over cooked, luke warm and tasteless mush of vegetables, noodles and very mushy over cooked king prawns, disgusting! It looked as if the ingredients had been sitting in a food warmer after being cooked some time earlier in the day. Now on to the customer service. Baring in mind it was very quiet, there was no member of staff available to report how unhappy we were with our meal. Nobody came over through our experience to check if our food was ok. It was only because a lady who was sitting near to us had asked for her bill did the girl who served us come over to clear the table. Again not one word left her mouth regarding our meal. We asked for the bill. She returned to the table with our bill and again didn’t ask if everything was ok. We paid the bill and waited for the receipt to come back with 5p change. This took another couple of minutes and was plonked down on the table before she walked away. We left the restaurant absolutely gobsmacked at our experience. Very very disappointed indeed and certainly not worth the £46 we...

I seldom write reviews, but I must share my recent dining experience that left me utterly astonished by the treatment received from the manager. My family and I decided to celebrate my graduation with a meal at this restaurant. The manager took everyone's orders attentively and noted them down, but shockingly, when it came to my mother's order, she completely disregarded it and didn't even bother writing it down.

As a result, all of our meals arrived, except for my mother's, which made me feel that the manager wasn't prioritizing the satisfaction of all customers and blatantly excluded her. When my father approached one of the waiters to explain the situation politely, he rudely brushed off my father's concerns, showing a complete lack of empathy and understanding.

However, the most distressing part unfolded when we were leaving Wagamama. As my father and I walked out, the manager halted my mother and falsely accused her of not paying the bill. Thankfully, another waiter intervened and came to my mother's defense, confirming that she had indeed paid. The level of customer service we experienced was shockingly inadequate, and it left us feeling extremely uncomfortable throughout our entire dining experience.

This incident occurred on Wednesday, June 19th, at 5:30 pm, and the manager on duty was a female. The details I've shared are undoubtedly preposterous, and I am now contemplating taking this matter further to address the mistreatment my...
