Have a mixed feelings about Le Signore!
Background:I was part of group of old senior citizens visiting the Royal Mews and the Royal Buckingham Palace. Our tour operator told us to leave our food on our buses. That was obvious that nobody is allowed to eat or drink inside those places. The group was given specific time slots to visit the places. All elderly people thoroughly enjoyed their tour to the Mews.
The next station was the Royal palace and we had to enter bit late. We had almost an hour. People started getting hungry and they even didn't know English properly, so we had to find them places to have something and use their restroom.
I took two families-5 of us to LeSegnor opposite to Mews, as it was nearest place to eat. The place is real cozy. Few seats outside and few more inside. They do have restroom which was exclusive for the customers (that's logical!). They offered a variety for breakfast and coffee, too.
I have no complaints about the ambiance, food and people. Everything was absolutely OK(!). The only thing I am not satisfied was I was not given a proper receipt of my purchase and the man(who looked like the boss) verbally added and...
Read moreThis charming little cafe in London is an absolute gem. I am an American and this was my first trip to England. I was stunned to find how many options for cafes and coffee houses there were, and then when you see the inside of them, (as an American) they felt shockingly small and odd at first glance! However the rather cheeky and sweet owners of this particular cafe Santina & Enrico, were warm, inviting and helpful! My party and I ate at this establishment every morning because the quality was off the charts! The breakfast sandwiches and the full English breakfast were perfect. The vanilla lattes were excellent and Enrico remembered that we liked them every day and started making them promptly as we walked into the door! I had to take a selfie with Enrico because he made our experience in the London area have such a nice and cozy feeling to start each day with! I honestly can’t recommend Le Signore enough! Try as much as you can from the menu and you won’t be disappointed! It’s so important to have these little locally owned places that are full of history and have a...
Read moreThis little place around the corner from my hotel, Resident Victoria, was a wonderful restaurant with around 8 booths and the best food I ate while the 6 days in London. The people behind the counter were friendly, courteous, prompt and served the best breakfasts, lunch and dinners I received while in London. The fact that they always had a smile on their faces was a plus. My husband had difficulty walking so they always had us sit in a booth in the back so he could get in and out of the booth without disturbing too many other patrons.
Not only that, I stopped in a few times for muffins and desserts. Their coffee was amazing and I really enjoyed eating an English Breakfast for the first time.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a quick impromptu place to eat. It's not really fancy and they make you feel...
