The B I G nothing. Under-utilised public green space - a playground for crows. With the exception of a rudimentary toddler’s playground the dearth of amenities and facilities accentuates the sense of desuetude and untapped potential. A resource ripe for rejuvenation. If you venture into this neighbourhood, at this time, swerve to avoid.
SESSES
Great child friendly cafe on the outside. Toys available for kids to ride, bikes scooters, skateboards etc. Most parents interact with all children making it very relaxing for every guardian. Shame it is open on a few days each week only. It would be my daily go to after a school pick up.

Clitterhouse farm is the best thing about this place. Attended a community event which was lovely - delicious Indian street food, live music and lots of activities. The atmosphere was truly warming despite the weather.

This park is a wide open space with an area in the middle of the park which has playing equipment for children such as swings etc. It is an ideal place to walk the dog or just go for a walk. In the school holidays the park usually hosts a fun fair , and sometimes other events such as firework displays. There are two entrances to the park , one in Claremont Road and the other just off pennine drive. Parking is difficult as it is set between residential parking areas , although there are good bus links...

Large park/playing fields area which can be accessed via any of its 6 entrances. Mostly laid to lawn with some trees and bushes to the north and east. Old farm buildings to the south being renovated to provide a cafe and garden area. Some football pitches. Childrens play area which needs updating. Used by the locals to run, play and walk their dogs etc. Substantial funds set aside to landscape and upgrade the facilities as part of the new planned development at the bottom of...

A great open space with a small play area at one end and the Clitterhouse Farm Project at the other. The green space is about a mile circuit around its edge and a small stream hidden on one side. The Farm Project is run by volunteers and has a small cafe and a fabulous community garden space. Opening hours vary but they announce on social media and in summer months Saturdays have...
