Great play area for the kids, but the rest of it's a bit of a let down. Too many alcoholics sitting on various benches during the day and a large section of grass is pecked to death by a constant flock of pigeons which are over fed on breadcrumbs and then poo on the neighbouring shops on the opposite site of the road. It improves dramatically when there is a festival on, but it's sadly a bit run down the rest of the time. Getting rid of the pigeons would help. Buildings opposite have a lot of white marks on them!!!

Good experience. Was welcomed by a lot of pigeons, I have to say wasn't impressed until one of them said salam to me. It was a pleasant experience after that, but can't say the same for dave sitting opposite who didn't Salam me back. Minus one star for this reason only.

A small and well maintained park with four entrances and two areas for play aperatus. It's a green flag space and is surrounded on two sides by busy streets and, as such, is a pleasing bit of greenery in busy London. The photos will give you a better idea of the place.

Known as the park of drug addicts, alcoholics and the less fortunate. At first glance it is easy to pass by and judge the people there; some can "look" really scary, but the truth is that they do no harm to anyone and they simply represent the people that live nearby: people with the ability to do something that someone more presentable who lives in zone 1 is not able to do: smile when they see another human being. If you smile back, they will even say hi.

If you have perfect children who will grow up in a fairy tale, having no idea of the world around them, this is not where you want to take them. But if you want to educate your children in the real world, where they can see what other people are like, and what the consequences of the choices they make in life look like, this is the...
