Absolutely great value for money, best in the area I must say. Morden architecture, cozy and warm interior design, spacious room (we opted for family room). Although the hotel wouldn’t allow guests to leave their luggages overnight, which is their policy, but they were helpful enough to accommodate our need of having to have the luggages stored with them before our 2nd arrival. A shout out to Tanya who was very friendly and helpful all through our stay, thank you for your hospitality which we truly appreciate. We didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel but we could see that the breakfast area which attached to the entrance and bar gives a very welcoming and cozy vibe. Rooms we stayed in although hasn't had a in-room safe provided, however if necessary, guest can fill in a form at the reception and have their valuables kept at the safe at the reception. Must also compliment the house keeping lady Ms CevteLima Mamcheva who was very friendly and cheerful. She did a wonderful job to ensure our room was properly cleaned each day and clean towels replaced. The hotel is located not far from the Ealing Broadway station and is a comfortable stroll of around 10 mins away and have many eateries around the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for an affordable yet high standard lodgings in London. Lastly, since the Elizabeth line is up and running, Ealing broadway is only a few minutes away from major stations like Paddington and Bond street without having to change to another line, connecting direct to Liverpool Street station, Canary Wharf, as well as Heathrow Airport which makes this hotel even more desirable in terms of location and standard of hotel accommodation...
Read moreUnfortunately, our experience was really bad from start to finish. The first day, we arrived late at night and as soon as I untucked the quilt I saw blood marks on it. We had to change room as there was no cleaning service at that time. In the morning, once again, we had to change to a different room. I noticed there were no hand or face towels so I asked for some. They brought us a towel which had marks on it… Furthermore, everyone knows that in UK the toilets flush the toilet paper. Our toilet got blocked and the guy who came to repair it “scolded us” for throwing the paper inside the toilet. However, we explained him that we have lived here for a couple of years and everyone knows that toilet paper can be flushed. Other than that, if you wish not to flush it, there should be a sign accordingly, as every hotel does if required as such. Anyway, after repairing it I asked for a cleaning service just for the bathroom as they had been working on it and they refused, saying there was no cleaning service and they had a very rude attitude. So we ended up cleaning it ourselves. After two more days, and even though we stopped flushing the toilet paper, the toilet again got blocked. Apparently there was a general issue and while leaving we mentioned it in the reception just to be ok from our side, and for the next customer to maybe have a better experience than us! Oh, and by the way, that was the only time they said “sorry”.
Overall, too much overrated for the price and the services they provide. Too pricey, and the service was really disappointing, there was no fridge or freezer and no face or hand towels. I...
Read moreI stayed here for three nights - one falling on the hotel's first anniversary - and it was a mostly positive experience. The hotel is located a short walk from an Underground station with both Central and District line trains, which makes it very convenient to get to the rest of London or to get back to the hotel, as well as near many restaurants and stores. Between the Morrison's and TK Maxx down the road, you can get anything you need without heading into the city center. Additionally, the hotel's movie theme is executed very well and the WiFi is free and fast. Breakfast is good enough, but the drinks machine is magic. How can one machine make so many drinks so well?
Other reviewers have mentioned that the lack of phones in the rooms is inconvenient. However, all rooms have a card with the front desk's phone number instructing guests to send a message on WhatsApp to contact a staff member. I believe this is at the very least an adequate replacement, and it may be seen as slightly ahead of the curve in the near future.
Now for the bad things. Although not all rooms have this, my room had a shower that was open to the rest of the bathroom. This looks very nice, but even with the curtain closed, the entire bathroom flooded every time the shower was turned on. Nowhere was safe from the water and it even flooded out onto the carpet on the other side of the door! There were also some fit and finish issues, with the toilet handle and the coat hangers on the doors rotating freely.
Overall, I had a very good experience at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone...
