When out and about, I often need a good flat white to keep me going, and I like trying out new places, especially those with a personal touch. I was curious about Made in Napoli since I noticed it behind the scaffolding on Leeland Road. Finally, last Tuesday, after our @Talking and Exploring Black Histories Walk in West Ealing, followed by a lovely lunch at Zeit and Zaatar with the other hungry ones who stayed on, and then some errands, including buying the special Polish plums called 'Węgierki', at the Polish Kujawiak shop, I entered this Italian Cake Shop at 17 Leeland Road, greeted by Gaetano who soon put in front of me the perfect cup of coffee he himself prepared. Read moreWow. I never knew they existed in my local area. I went first time today and I was outside shop and the lovely owner greeted me immediately and welcomed me into shop. I was not sure on suitable vegetarian and halal options and the owner kindly showed me suitable pastry for me and I am chocolate fan and I had my first chocolate tart which was so amazingly balanced in flavor and pastry crust was delicious and with it had a delicious latte.
I exchanged conversations with owner and staff in shop they also promoted hot food options including pizza and I am big fan of Nipoli pizza :) ...so I need to visit again soon for this.
The owner is so welcoming and made sure I was enjoying my order whilst having a pleasant conversation.
I think I am gonna be frequent customer here :).

Read moreStepping into this coffee shop felt like a brief escape to Italy. From the aroma of freshly ground beans to the warm welcome at the counter, every detail was authentic and heartfelt.
I ordered a Oat milk cappuccino and a cornetto, they tasted amazing. You can tell that it is all freshly made. The coffee was bold, smooth, with a rich fluffy milk. Just the way it should be. You can tell they care about quality and tradition. The pastries were equally divine.
What truly stood out was the atmosphere. It wasn’t just a place to grab coffee—it felt like a small corner of Italy, where regulars are greeted like family and the staff take pride in their craft. Cozy, yet buzzing with life, and not overrun by laptops or loud chatter. Just coffee, conversation, and culture.
A gem for anyone missing real Italian coffee or just wanting something soulful in West...
