This is one of the best Hindu temples in Wembley. It's a small temple but still very beautiful and calm. The main deity of the temple is SHIVA. Also once you enter into the temple you can experience the positive vibe and you feel relaxed and calm. Afternoon Arathi is really good. It's a treat to watch. After the Arathi they also serve sumptuous Prasadam and trust me that's the best in the world. They also have a small office room where you can buy the tickets for services like Archana, Abhishekam....and also you can donate the money.. The temple is 5-10 walkable from the Wembley Central Train Station. It's a must visit temple.

I visit many temples around the Wembley area being a Hindu myself . Normally I go to Sanatan Mandir in Alperton or Shree Jalaram Mandir in Greenford or even the Neasden Mandir . I always receive a warm welcome and feel blessed upon exiting these temples . A few months ago I decided to visit the Shiva temple on ealing road wembley , I almost wish I hadn’t gone . I was greeted with cold glares by even the priest as well as what seemed like women volunteers . Upon giving my small donation of Ā£11 , I couldn’t see any Prasad placed anywhere , do I asked for a small piece of sugar or a peanut , I was met with cold looks and a shake of the head by the women volunteers . I felt so sad to see this awful negative attitude of people who represent our mighty Mahadev šŸ™ and his temple . Not only this but the dilapidated and damp and unclean looking state of this Mandir was both hurtful and disrespectful. Surely if not state of the art , this Mandir could be kept clean and worshippers met with a friendly smile as in other local Mandirs? Although disheartened by this experience , I decided to focus on my prayers to Mahadev and am sorry to say but left the Mandir wondering as to why I decided to walk in . I will stick to my usual mandirs going forward as those visits uplift me and enforce my faith in the Brahma, Vishnu , Mahesh šŸ™šŸ™ This is also a message to the maintainers of this Shiva Mandir - please kindly do not continue in this way , it is highly disrespectful to our Mahadev . Please keep the Mandir clean , bright and inviting by smiling and giving a warm welcome to visitors / worshippers and offer Prasad . You don’t have to be a state of the art Mandir , but there is much room for improvement and attitude change from extreme negativity to great...

The temple is beautiful and gave me a soulful feeling whenever I went there until today. I know on Shivaratris it can get annoying but as a priest I am sure they are there to pray and preach about the good in the world around us. It was so disappointing and disheartening that when I was placing flowers wholeheartedly to the Lord, not even in the main mandir but to the gods at the side, the priest just yells in front of everyone and say ā€œ how can you offer it? Why don’t u go to puja and Abhishekam in the main mandir if you think u can offer flowers to god yourself. Why are we here then?ā€ I think he completely forgot why he was there because he was there to respect god and his devotees. Do some good. I really didn’t expect this. The priest could’ve been more humble and the temple could have boards saying don’t offer flowers to god. Everyone was offering flowers, I saw so many flowers being placed by the devotees themselves, so why was I pointed out? The volunteers have no clue why they are there because all they did was yell at people. We believe that after praying, we need to have the Prasad and leave the temple. There was no Prasad being offered at all and cold glares were given by all the volunteers. For gods sake, we are there to pray. All we want to do is pray to god in peace. I don’t think I can ever feel that peace in this temple. There are so many more temples that are so warm...

Yet another time and again I tried hard and stopped myself to write this review but I'm highly disappointed by the priests who think that they alone own God in this temple, if that's the case why is this open for all public? Put a board that only srilankans or Tamils are allowed in this???!! The half bald priest i have seen him numerous times insulting people who come there to worship God and are not going personally to that priest's house. This priest always catches someone to satisfy his ego or remove frustration. Yesterday he gave a closing lecture on donation and gave exam of Mahabharata and today one gi touched Nandi with her belief to pray Nandi but this priest shouts at her saying nothing will happen by touching guard do everything with your heart, the girl was cal. But again he is taunting her do you hear and understand . I mean this priest is sick mentally retarded and should not be allowed to go near public.hats off to that girl who had proper upbringing to just ignore him and she just replied yes I am doing everything whole heartedly.but this priest is really psycho. And others too who make big issues out of nothing when devotees are praying as per their beliefs and culture. Shame on these priests, I'm waiting if any day they say me all this i will ask them straight who are they to judge devotees belief. Better Have some purification done in...
