I had heard a few mixed reviews about this place, but felt like trying it. Considering I was visiting on a Saturday afternoon/evening, I thought it would be extremely busy, and that we’d have to end up taking our orders away. Although it was rather busy, we were shown to a table instantly.

There’s quite a large selection on the menu, all at the prices you’d expect, so thankfully I wasn’t too shocked.

I ordered cookie dough with Oreo and some ice cream, my girlfriend ordered white chocolate chip cookie dough, with white Kinder Bueno and ice cream, and her young daughter ordered a strawberry sundae. Unfortunately it was only after we ordered that we realised there was also a kids menu, and the young child couldn’t finish her order.

I wasn’t aware upon entering, but you need to order at the till point, rather than having someone come around and take your orders; basically like Nandos. I guess this seemed fair really, due to the fact that the walkways between boothes was quite narrow.

To my surprise and pleasure, our orders arrived within about five minutes or so, and they looked wonderful! We also asked for some water (when our orders arrived), and one of the assistants brought three plastic cups and a jug of water almost immediately.

I won’t knock the food quality here at all, but you really should have a sweet tooth, as everything is very sweet. So the place does its job, but it might not be everyone’s cup of tea.

At the time of visiting, the main toilet was out of order, and all the customers had to share the disabled/baby change toilet. There wasn’t any toilet paper, which was a bit of a let down (especially for the females I would imagine), but as I guess most of the staff were busy, they just hadn’t had a chance to inspect the toilet.

All the staff seemed very friendly and attentive. As mentioned earlier, the young child wasn’t able to finish her sundae, and the staff happily provided us with a plastic milkshake cup, which we could put the remaining sundae in and take away with us.

To be honest, I wouldn’t make it a habit to go here again, simply due to the fact that too much sweet stuff can’t be good for you, but I would be willing to visit again, as my experience was a rather pleasant...
