Please BE MINDFUL if you ever considering renting here. The property management of this building is disorganized.
When I was living in this building, I received an email from a property employee on July 31, 2024, alleging that I still had £16,855.98 of unpaid rent. But I had already paid it at the property office on January 31, 2024, which was the day I renewed my six-month contract(There is HSBC transaction records). This incident was a glimpse of the chaotic within the management team communication system due to the internal information is lack of transparency.
I moved out of this building at the end of August, 2024, my apartment was well cleaned before I moved out (there are photos and videos as evidences, I list few images below) and I went to the property office on the 28th August 2024 to returned two apartment door keys and two mailbox keys to a male staff who was in the office on that day. I double checked with that staff is it ok that the keys were returned in this way and don't I need to sign anything when I move out of the apartment? That staff confirmed it was fine, so I left.(There is recording material of the whole conversation, will provide it when required by the third party arbitration institution or opposing counsel)
In September 2024 I received two claims from the landlord via DPS, the first one claimed that āThe flat has not been cleaned and there are many items including cleaning products that require disposalā so I was asked to pay nearly Ā£200 as the cleaning fee; the second one claimed that I had not returned the keys so the landlord had to make new keys and I was liable for the cost of the new keys which is Ā£200. I was very shocked and disappointed about both allegations as I have very much evidence in my hand to question the veracity of the contents of these two claims.
Iām still awaiting for the landlord response via DPS now, canāt imagine how much other people would be paying if they were tenants that trust someone else and didn't leave any evidence in their favour when they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI moved to London in February 2022 and I was extremely lucky to have found Hamlet Gardens!
It is an absolutely fantastic place to live for a number of reasons:
The actual building.
The Hamlet Gardens buildings are beautiful: with a Victorian facade that evoke times long gone and all the modern facilities within. I love walking past and into the building, feeling blessed to live here.
The on-site team.
Moving from another country or from one place to another, is stressful enough on its own. However, with an excellent service provided by the on-site team (Paul, Danielle, Monique) everything becomes much easier.
Major shout-out to Monique Johnson. My partner and I were recently looking to move in and I cried (literally) at the thought of leaving Hamlet Gardens. After speaking to Monique, she made this experience extraordinary (we went from flat-hunting hell in London to finding heaven in Hamlet Gardens). She made everything easy: moving-in, getting the right things into the flat at the right time, arriving to a clean and beautiful flat ready to use and she's always available to offer her assistance with a bright smile. I cannot thank her enough for everything she's done and I commend her professionalism and brilliant disposition.
The amenities.
As if everything else wasn't enough, Hamlet Gardens is located in the most wonderful of areas. Ravenscourt Park is nearby (for a morning run) and there are great coffee shops all around (shout-out to Tusk). Need Groceries? You've got Tesco, Siracha (Asian grocery store) and Saffron (another great supermarket with a lot of variety) right around the corner. In short, there's everything you might need at a walking distance from the building. The tube is also a stones throw away and Hammersmith, which is a commercial hub, is only a 15-20 minute walk.
I'm so happy I found Hamlet Gardens and I highly recommend it to anyone...
