5* place and people We had the best evening for our group reunion and birthday celebrations! Some of us arrived early and were able to enjoy the beautiful restaurant with some cocktails. We were warmly welcomed by Itesh (apologies for the spelling). He was very attentive and a wonderful host. Food We tried quite a lot of the menu between us. We met chef Osman at the start of the evening. Some starters included, homemade bread served with olive oil and balsamic, olives, haddock and Leek fishcakes, scallops and crispy chorizo and jumbo shrimp. My personal favourites were the scallops and shrimp. Cooked to perfection. The jumbo shrimp was served in a garlic, lemon, and chilli butter, which was so moreish. For mains, we had a selection of steaks. The T Bone steak was the most magnificent steak I have seen. It was cooked beautifully and served with a very tasty green peppercorn sauce. I got to try some, and it was gorgeous. I had the pan-fried corn fed chicken supreme, which was so tender. It was cooked in a creamy, parmesan sauce, served with spinach and mashed potato. It was delicious. I would definitely have it again. The lovely staff did a birthday surprise at the end of our meal, which was really appreciated. It was a rather yummy cheesecake and a sweet chorus of 'Happy Birthday to you'. Our cost per person was higher than average due to the drinks and us wanting to try so many starters. Otherwise, I would expect to spend £30-£40/per person on a normal day. You can also get the set menu through the week, so you would get 2 courses for £19 or 3 for £23 (see the website for times which vary). We there Friday evening which it doesn't apply to. Most importantly, the toilets are very clean. Ultimately, this is a top quality restaurant with the most charming staff. We were treated delightfully from the moment we arrived to when we left (which was about 5+ hours). We would be happy to return in the future and will consider it for any events we hold.

We had the most fantastic experience at Flame & Fire! This was a planned surprise celebration for my wife’s birthday. We live in Texas and I had been in touch with Frances & Osman for several months planning the event. They have been most accommodating and attentive and even made suggestions to enhance the surprise, especially since we also had our friends from Norway attending as part of the surprise to my wife. Everything went off BEAUTIFULLY and my wife was totally impressed! The food & Drinks were equally perfect! Our bartender wooed us with some brilliantly blended drinks, whilst explaining how the recipes were concocted and why. Our waiter did the same and was on point with his suggestions and explanation of the menu. The Food was out of this world delish and was perfectly prepared by the chef! The venue is wonderfully intimate, romantic and well appointed. BIG, BIG Thanks to Frances, Osman and the entire staff for making our event one of the most memorable! We will visit every time we are in London! 😊❤️

I went here with my boyfriend less than two weeks ago and it was absolutely delicious. We're a bit of 'meat snobs' and we were aching for some properly made meat (and were willing to splurge to these effects). We went to Flame & Fire and we got just what we wanted. We ordered the Tomahawk for 2 (it's £98 but worth the price) and we ordered it medium well. We got just what we asked for with the meat so tender it melted in your mouth. The Tomahawk comes with salad and delicious chips. The whole thing was incredible (again - 5/5). Afterwards, we got some Creme Brûlée for dessert and it was also delicious and rightly done. We were both, overall, super happy with our experience and our food. The one thing I'm going to put out there is that they did not tell us that the sauces (for the meat) were £3.00 each and that did surprised us a bit when we got the bill. Nonetheless, this small detail doesn't deter from the fantastic dinning experience we received at the Flame & Fire and the very attentive staff.

First time writing a review but had to for Flame & Fire.

A few reasons why they are a must visit for at least locals and anyone wanting top quality food and service:

Good communication and children welcome: Initially wasn't sure if children were allowed but emailed in advance and got a quick response that they were. A high chair was available and colouring pens too on arrival!

Superb hospitality: Frances definitely looked after us and our 2YO making sure they were happy. It was one of our birthday's and they made sure there was a candle to blow out. Thank you Frances!

Amazing food: We ordered the calamari to start, then salmon steak, wagyu sirloin and mac+cheese bites for the little one from the kids menu. Creme brulee and brownie+ice cream for dessert. Amaretto sours to drink (2 for 15 during happy hour). Honestly, we have not see our kid eat as much (they had already had tea earlier), which must have meant that the food was good! The salmon steak was tasty and the wagyu cooked perfectly with a peppercorn sauce that matched. We agreed that it was easily top 5 in quality of food from places we've dined at, matching/surpassing Michelin stars.

Chilled atmosphere: We went on a Wednesday which was fairly quiet but was perfect as it was chilled in a spot that is well designed+decorated. We recommend to visit on a Monday-Wednesday to take advantage of this, Wednesdays is steak night (free bottle of wine with a sharing steak but we opted not get a sharing one).

True value: You definitely get the attentiveness of service and quality of food that you pay for (which is not often said in London). We were pleasantly surprised by the portion size of the salmon with mash and spinach and it was an effort (in a good way) to finish for one.

Overall, as others have mentioned, somewhere that we will definitely be visiting many more times and we encourage everyone else...

Finding the perfect venue for our wedding felt daunting at first. However, from the moment we stepped into Flame and Fire in Hammersmith, we knew we'd found something truly special. The decor is absolutely impeccable. It's ambiance elegant and romantic, creating a truly magical atmosphere that perfectly captured the essence of our wedding day. We received countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the space was. And the food, the food was simply phenomenal, especially considering the price. We opted for the set menu, and it was a resounding success! Every single dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The value for money was truly outstanding! But what truly elevated our experience at Flame and Fire was the exceptional service. From the moment we first booked the owners, to the attentiveness of the bartender and waiters, every member of the staff was absolutely amazing. They were professional, friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure our every need was met. It felt like they were genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect! Flame and Fire provided the perfect setting for our wedding reception. The stunning decor, exquisite food, and impeccable service combines to create an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. They even played our theme song and we danced to it! We cannot thank the entire team at Flame and Fire enough for making our wedding so incredibly special. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a truly magical venue for their wedding...
