Read moreOne of the staff was extremely rude to me when I went to collect an order for my dad. She asked for the name on the order and then sighed very loudly while giving me a dirty annoyed look upon hearing that it was an ethnic Chinese name. This happened even though I immediately proceeded to spell out the name letter by letter. This level of disrespect towards a customer is unprofessional and frankly unacceptable. I have already complained to the manager of the store, but I just thought Iâd say something about it here. The womanâs name was something like Nicky and she had long curly brown hair.
Edit: Saw Nicky in store and politely informed her that she should not treat customers with ethnic names in such a disrespectful way, as people of colour are often subjected to this kind of micro-aggression via the mispronunciation of their names. She proceeded to react very aggressively towards me (the micro- part had now disappeared lmao) saying âdonât try that with meâ. However I have to say I appreciate the manager for stepping in and listening to my concerns as a customer.
I have now informed Head Office about this incident and itâs been escalated....
Read moreI have on 2 occasions found the check out person (Patricia) disinterested and looking elsewhere (not paying attention) to me at the checkout. On top of that she is extremely rude and aggressive and provides shameful customer service. Today she asked me if I needed a bag and I said âyes pleaseâ loud enough to hear. Patricia was constantly looking outside the door and obviously did not bother to hear me. When I asked for a bag again, her very aggressive response was âI did ask youâ when I said that I has said yes, she started arguing aggressively that I had not. I donât understand the need to argue over a bag!!! Itâs not like I wasnât willing to pay for it. Then she went off on an aggressive rant saying that I didnât reply to her when she asked me.
I must say this is the worst experience I have had shopping at any shop and it left me extremely upset. When I tried to provide her this feedback, she didnât let me finish my sentence and spoke very loudly over me and in an aggressive manner saying âhave a nice dayâ. I am shocked and deeply upset by this experience.
Other staff have always been professional. But I will not be...
