We had our wedding reception at Pratap and Nik’s beautiful home.

From the beginning of our correspondence, Pratap was receptive and responsive - designing a menu that perfectly suited what we were after while catering for the various dietary requirements of our guests, and also helping us to put together a wine selection and work out the logistics for our wedding day. He made it all seem effortless!

The day itself was perfect - a champagne reception in their magical garden, the absolutely delicious starters, their welcoming hospitality, and best of all, the main meal definitely got the highest praise: Pratap was brave enough to cook Keralan dishes for some discerning Malayalis, and gained the “Keralan auntie seal of approval” -- one of our guests is acknowledged as the best cook in my large extended family, and she was impressed!

I was in charge of creating a sophisticated hen for a very close friend of mine and I was desperate to find something unusual, intimate and very special. My goodness did That Hungry Chef deliver! I knew that Pratap did themed dinners and asked if he could create a Midsummer Nights Dream one. Pratap then scoured the play for inspiration and created the most magnificent meal based on the scents and flavours mentioned in the text.The food was spectacular, and the setting matched it. Their garden was filled with candles and we all felt that we had been transported out of London, into somewhere truly magical. HUGE thanks to you and your wife for such an amazing evening! We could not have wished for a more perfect host, venue, meal, and you even managed to sort the weather for us! We were all bowled over by your beautiful home and garden, warm hospitality and absolutely beautiful meal. We had explored so many options of what to do for our friend's birthday and we are delighted that we found you! The ‘party bags’ were an extra special touch!
