Amazing to think that a cemetery, of all places, would turn out to be such a perfect place to bring your dog to run around freely and meet other dogs and their owners in a tranquil, relatively secure environment with a nice little community. The place is really well looked after too. Would prefer if cars weren’t allowed to cut through the main grounds (as opposed to just parking at the entrance), given there are dogs off lead there, but understand the need for elderly or disabled people to be driven nearer to graves on occasion. Generally, a wonderful place and very much needed for local residents. Hopefully one day we will get the chapel...

So it’s lovely that we have a community feel here, of locals that use this together, where we visit our loved ones graves, walk and enjoy the local wildlife, and walk our dogs respectfully. Sad to see some of the negative comments on here - if you’re visiting - it’s a lovely place! (There’s always someone who will do something wrong occasionally). This not only adds to the pollution in the local area, but endangers the many dogs and children (and adults) that use this cemetery.
