My wife has commented for years that her hair bands and scrunchies she uses pull and break her hair when she takes them out. I just thought she was yanking them to much. Needless to say my comment didn't go down well!

I decided to do some homework on her behalf and found a science in the scrunchie. For years she has been picking up the cheap as chips bands and scrunchies from the supermarket and thats the issue. Whatever they are me of, my guess a plastic derivative is the cause of the tangling and hair wrap around.

So I ordered a set of Mulberry silk scrunchies as a last throw of the dice and hey presto problem solved....she loves them and I've earned some kudos after all these years. She loved the colours of the set I bought (black and greys) really good for the office and more formal occasions but wants some brighter colours for the summer.

My ponytail stays up and doesn’t get pulled. I often found that the standard hair bands to keep my hair in place needed to be tightened which was uncomfortable and at times caused me headaches. Such great products. The eye mask is so lightweight, it is like wearing a cloud, (so it won't flatten your hair or leave lines on your face).
