Could well be the best classic Thai (read dishes for Brits) I've had in UK. Certainly in a different league to places like Rosa's which is average at best imo. The menu is also more adventurous than your classic high street Thai (but not as daring as places like smoking goat or kiln - so it's safe to take the fuss pots). Everything we had was cooked to perfection and REALLY delicious so full marks there. Only a few covers in the restaurant however (3x 4s, 2x 2s) and it feels more like a takeaway spot but I'm glad we ate in because their presentation was excellent and naturally you'd lose some of the perfect crispiness to some of the dishes taking out. The only criticism I have is that it's BYOB with nominal corkage and charge for taking home leftovers. Not enough of a gripe to take away from the fantastic meal which makes me salivate just from...
Read moreAmazing little Thai spot with seriously authentic flavours. The staff were incredibly welcoming, even introducing us to the chefs and having a laugh with us. We had the sharing platter to start which gave a great mix - the steamed dumplings were a nice surprise and the satay and fish cakes were probably the best I’ve had outside Thailand. For mains we had pad Thai, duck curry, deep fried sea bass with mango salad and beef salad - all packed with flavour and with the spice not watered down for Western palettes. The Tom Yum was perfectly sour and the mango and durian sticky rice brought back memories of street food in Phuket. Unassuming place that deserves all the hype it’s...

The Pad Thai is not that large a portion but it is moist and rich. The cashew nut dish and the ‘desperate menu’ dish are also very tasty - Thai cooking at its best. The Penang curry is delicious and not too salty, which is the downfall of many Penang curries in UK Thai restaurants. Desserts are limited and tend to be ‘specials’ and are...
