Atlantis Greek Restaurant — Restaurant in London

We visited Atlantis Greek Restaurant on a lovely summer's evening. We felt like we were on holiday. The ambience is very Greek without being overwhelmingly blue and white. You really feel like you're in a small town in Greece being served food that your mum has made.

We went for the 3 course meal which comes with a selection of starters, mains and baklava with ice-cream for dessert.

Everything was perfect. It's like you've gone to mum's and she's made you a lovely meal. Very nostalgic flavours. And there is salt and pepper on the table, don't be afraid to use it. Home cooking means everyone has their own taste, so add more seasoning as you prefer. No one is going to roll eyes if you need a bit more salt.

The dolma was not canned. This made me happy. I'm Assyrian and my partner is Armenian so we love Dolma, and Greek Dolma is usually just rice, lemon and dill in a vine leaf, but this was very tomatoe-y and flavoursome which is similar to how we make it.

Friendly staff, lovely vibes, good prices.

Need a nice uplifting evening! Then go to this restaurant! What a busy, friendly place... Menu is good traditional food, very fair in price, staff were very busy but like all good taverna, you wouldn't feel the pressure they were under, Maria and Irini were excellent. Opted for cold starters and mixed grill mains and the Tara and Tsiz were very nice with the hot pitta, too nice... Remember when having this starter to leave room for your main lol... The meats of the mixed grill were very tender and full of flavour, with a generous serving of rice, salad and potato... Can't comment on desserts.. No room... But a lovely Greek coffee and Ouzo to finish the perfect evening. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks again to Maria and Irini, for perfect service....

I wish I could give more than 5⭐️! I am hooked on Atlantis and have been since I moved to the area 11 years ago. Not only is the owner and staff brilliant: friendly, helpful and accommodating of my younger fussy eaters, but the food is simply exquisite! I have a soft spot for the mezze as a generous variety of authentic hummus, tzatziki, taramasalata, the best calamari ever and a lot more... Fantastic value for money on one side, and authentic greek taste and overall experience too! They’ve gone the extra mile during the many lockdowns with great customer service and genuinely kept their spirit up throughout!
