Putney Lower Common — Attraction in London

The pin on the map is in the southern section of Putney Common outside All Saints Church and including Putney Cricket Ground. There is a much larger, and wilder, area across Lower Richmond Road on either side of the Oasis Academy. It is possible to walk across it and continue to the west on to Barnes Common, however although there is a bridge across Beverley Brook to the north, it seems to be a dead end and you have to follow the trail by the brook out to Rocks Lane - you cannot get in to Barn Elms Playing Fields or the Thames...

Putney Common is a great expanse of greenery in which to chilax, enjoy the warmth of the summer sun, and generally unwind!! There's several nearby restaurants from which to order scrumptious food and refreshing drinks!!
