For anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine with a modern touch, I would highly recommend this place. We tried out the samosa chaat, butter chicken, paneer karahi, lamb kebabs and butter naan - each dish showcasing a depth of flavour that speaks to the freshness of the ingredients and the care put into preparation. The samosa chaat was a perfect balance of crunch, tang, and spice, while the butter chicken was rich and creamy without being heavy. The paneer karahi stood out with its bold spices and tender cubes of paneer. What truly impressed us were the generous portion sizes, the presentation of each dish, and the fragrant complexity. Whether you're a longtime lover of Indian cuisine or just beginning your journey, Rasoi is a place you’ll want to return to. Highly recommended for foodies looking for a flavourful, satisfying meal in a relaxed and friendly setting in the Richmond area.

Having visited Rasoi for the first time recently, I thoroughly enjoyed both the food and experience. We tried the seekh kebabs, samosa chaat and the butter chicken, which were all prepared to a high standard and presented beautifully. The food we had was generously portioned and tasted authentically Punjabi! It is defo reminiscent of the food you would get served at a proper ‘Punjabi dhaba’. The decor, with its traditional artwork, made us feel like we were stepping into a little piece of India. The owner and staff’s hospitality and knowledge on the various dishes is second to none and I would definitely recommend anyone in the Putney area to visit and experience Rasoi for themselves.

Absolutely outstanding. In 30 years living in London, I’ve never had food like it. Small kitchen, cooked with family recipes, you truly can’t get any better. We’ll be coming back, that’s for sure! Madras, Kahrahi, pilau rice, garlic naan, poppadoms. 10/10

A wonderful local gem, we are discerning foodies and are always looking for good restaurants nearby and we weren’t disappointed. The family owned establishment is friendly and professional, the owner/ Chef Raj was wonderful to chat with and we could have talked all night exchanging experiences! My paneer was delicious and a generous serving as were the prawn n , lamb curries. The biggest bonus was that it was BYO which is hard to find in this country . Lamb kebabs were succulent and full of flavour, the samosas were the best I’ve ever tasted as the pastry was crumbly with just the right amount of spice in the filling - definitely be calling in for dining...
