Il laghetto ornamentale Round Pond è situato nei Kensington Gardens, realizzato da re Giorgio II nel 1730, a scapito del nome è in realtà piu un parallelepipedo di 200x150 metri dagli angoli arrotondati profondo circa 5 metri nel punto massimo. È un luogo piacevole, popolato da un'ampia varietà di volatili: cigni, storni, oche egiziane, folaghe, germani... dove ci si può rilassare seduti sulle panchine collocate lungo le sponde oppure adagiati nei prati ben curati che lo circondano.
