IF I COULD GIVE - MINUS STARS I WOULD We booked this as a special treat for the start of our holiday, it was supposed to be a nice relaxing chill with a bite to eat and a drink. How wrong were we......It was PACKED OUT LIKE A CATTLE MARKET NO. OR VERY LITTLE FOOD. NO TABLES PLATES OR CUTLERY SOME STAFF VERY RUDE WHEN WE COMPLAINED ABOUT NO FOOD THE BIT OF CURRY ON OFFER DRIED UP AND COLD THEY WERE TRYING TO DE FROST BURGER BUNS TO OFFER AS BREAD We paid almost £50 for the 2 of us for what... a bit of ham & cheese brought out of the kitchen last minute. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have complained and this is the reply I got from the ASPIRE LOUNGE.

Hi Kay
Thank you so much for your patience while I have looked into this for you, I have received the below response from the lounge:
I have fully investigated this.
I have checked temperature and quality control checks and can see the food was replenished, the salad bar in the photos taken is a full salad bar, you can see the guests with lots of food on their plates, this would have been replenished no longer than 15 minutes later.
Again with the hot dishes, both hot dishes including the rice are served at the correct temperature and kept at that temperature whilst on display. The picture shows the rice needed replenishing, I have checked temp checks and can see it was checked twice during this guests visit which leads me to believe it was replenished within 7 minutes of it running out.
From the other images, I can see cakes available , cream for the pastries and scones, selection of fruit.
Unfortunately staff can not control how much food guests take but it is replenished as soon as possible this is the same with crockery and cutlery.
The plates we offer are small in size, we have taken this feedback on board and have ordered larger plates which should arrive at the lounges soon.
I will not be passing on the feedback about the staff member as the way the guest has described the staff member is not very nice.
As food and crockery was replenished through out this guests time in the lounge we would not refund this...
Read moreI was originally booked into the Aspire Lounge in T1 but due to a need to cancel my Emirates flights and rebook with Singapore Airlines, I also had to change my lounge booking to T2. The website told me it was closed so I used the online chat feature to speak directly. Laura worked really efficiently to move the booking to T2 even though the "System said No" and went so far as to email the lounge to let them know that the "evil system" would only let her book me in from 10:15. We'd get there earlier (our flight was at 11am). Sensing a 'problem on arrival', I was completely mistaken. The message had indeed got through and the lovely Danielle on reception had my name written down and asked me who I was before I'd even finished explaining my situation! I don't understand why people complain about this lounge. I'll agree it needs a tiny bit of an update (lick of paint here and there, a few plug/USB sockets adding) but it's comfortable, there's plenty of seating with tables, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable and the food and beverage on offer, while not Michelin starred, is miles better than the outrageously expensive cr@p you could get downstairs. Given the hammering this place takes from the Benidorm, Gran Can and Tenerife Massive it hardly surprises me that they expect the full Business Class experience and whine when it doesn't meet those expectations. This is a lounge that allows you a little bit of extra comfort and privacy compared with the "slosh and nosh + Fly" elsewhere in T2 - For about £25!!! The cheapest Business Class fare on my route to Bali starts at around £2,300 per person - The £400 'Mahoosive Inclusives' just don't cut it, Sorry! This is a fantastic offering and if you have a problem, just get in touch with the back office team. They're cracking and will sort it out before you need to have a whine on here. Thank you Laura in head office (who knew my nightmare) for being so efficient, and Danielle for being so friendly and welcoming on 12th March 2020 (EVANS). You will see me again soon if I'm...
Read moreSummary: won’t be coming again and don’t recommend. Front desk staff snobby.
I travel a lot through many airport lounges, used this one about 3 weeks ago, in this lounge the front desk customer service was honestly snobby, I an a business man in my late 20s and not your typical middle aged man wearing a business suit especially as a long haul flight was coming up. I was not treated equally and had the right to be there. I found it strange that they would only let me in if I sat to the side at the high top table area when the padded seat area was vacant. I felt the whole time that the front desk staff thought they were doing me a favour letting me in when in fact I had the status to be there.
I had 2 business guests joining me later on. I went to to front desk to let them know they would be joining in the next 10mins and if that was ok, (I would pay/use my status to cover) they asked for my name which I provided, they could not find me in the system and asked me why? I explained the previous staff members scanned my info etc, they even questioned if my name was Andrew (which it is not) and they even asked me who is Andrew Smith, I told them “not me”, my name is Bill, I was puzzled why did they ask if I was someone else when they had my ID. After they re scanned me in.
The facility inside was nothing special, small area, food&drinks were ok. Tv screens with gate info were hard to see from certain places so you have to keep getting up to check especially during a delayed flight.
I would like to point out there was a trainee young man on the front desk, he was professional and polite, the other 2 were not.
I hope this feedback improves the...
