Barburrito - Manchester Airport T2 — Restaurant in Manchester

Burrito was honestly awful, I grew up on Mexican food and this is by far the WORST burrito I’ve ever had. No spice, no flavour, no choice on salsas. No jalapeños? And when I asked for a chicken burrito I was told there wasn’t any chicken. I counted 9 staff members. In the short time I watched the girl and guy in shirts(managers I assume) “have the chats” one of them was on his phone right in front of every customer? They both seemed more interested in distracting the others. Another guy came out wearing headphones and a bodywarmer chatting away too. Two people within the 9 seemed to be doing work…2?! A nice girl with blonde money pieces in her hair and a young guy with long hair. There were so few customers going there and when you got to the counter you were ignored for a bit. Pretty terrible experience to be honest. Oh and the girl manager was also on her phone leaving against the counter in front of customers and chatting distracting the only good workers. If I was the owner I would be horrified. If the owner would like to contact me I can give more...

Not a good experience. Disappointing portion of a beef burrito. I compare it with Tortilla. Tiny portion of mexican rice. Tiny portion of sweet corn. Tiny beef portion even though you pay extra for beef. Even the salsa was only like 2 teaspoons. Had to ask to add more. For drinks, they don’t even have milk substitutes. No oat milk, only semi-skimmed. Initially ordered doctor pepper but when I changed my mind after paying and want to get coffee instead, I was rudely told that they couldn’t change my doctor pepper because there is nothing wrong with it. The doctor pepper was not even cold even though it came out of a fridge.

Please review portion and serving size for your price. And improve service. Not sure if the date was a factor. I went there on the 27th of December at 11:30am to 12:00nn.

As an airport worker, I spend a lot of time in the airport.

I would say 9 out of 10 of my visits to Barburrito have been a failure.

As an example today I got to Barburrito at exactly 10am and was refused the breakfast as it finishes at 10am. Sometimes in the past they have refused breakfast even with several minutes to spare. Stopping breakfast at 10am is ridiculous.

They are also the first food place in the terminal to close, often at 5pm even 4pm when most people are thinking about having an evening meal. I have missed it many times and had to take my custom elsewhere.

The attitude of the staff towards any customers is not the friendliest and their customer attitude is the worst I've seen in the terminal.

It's a pity as the food is nice but the management need to make HUGE improvements to this place...
