Giraffe - Manchester Airport T2 — Restaurant in Manchester

Didn’t even eat here. Notice outside restaurant says they’re serving within 10 minutes. However, having sat waiting at my table for longer that time without being acknowledged, with plenty of staff flitting from here to there, not particularly busy doing anything, I upped and left. We weren’t even asked for drinks in that time… I even asked one staff member if we could get some service,and was advised someone would be with us shortly, pointing to a gentleman serving a table near to us. However we still went ignored. There were several tables seated AFTER us who had received service. AVOID. If I could give a negative score based on service...

Importantly the breakfast was pleasant when it came with quality items. Was a bit of a battle to get mushrooms replaced with another half tomatoe though ! It is an airport but rather minimal portions for the price I felt. I do like Giraffe and probably come again . I enjoyed the meal.

Service was pleasant but slow.

A good few empty tables with queues waiting to get in. Looks like the staff need some training. This cafe could double it's profits with better systems! Similarly with the service . People have a time limited window and so needs to be swifter in the kitchen and swifter service...

Very poor service. Drinks sat on the bar for 15 minutes before I had to ask for them myself, and the waitress made me feel out of order for doing so. She even made a comment to her colleague as I walked away. Later, no staff were around when I tried to pay, and when I didn’t leave a tip on the card machine, she snatched it back and walked away without a single word, not even a goodbye. Came across as a very entitled person with no sense of customer service. Extremely disappointing and not a good reflection of Giraffe at Manchester Airport...
