Biza Tax & Duty Free - Manchester Terminal 1 — Attraction in Manchester

The staff are so RUDE. I went to buy 2 different items and one was a purchase for my mum so it had to be on a separate credit card. A member of staff came and stood directly beside me, literally a couple inches from me, breathing down my neck. It was very apparent she had just looked at me only scanning one item at a time (as I was using 2 different cards to complete the transaction) and for whatever reason assumed I was stealing. Once she saw me begin to pay for the item she took it to bag it etc. but then it came up saying domestic flight. She turns to me in the same hostile aggressive manner as she had had from the beginning, gives me a dirty look and goes “you can’t purchase this.” I was taken aback as I wasn’t sure why and her tone was like I’d done something horribly wrong. I calmly asked “oh…why?” Because at this point I didn’t know if it was because of me or something. Then she began to explain there was a rule about it. I said “oh okay” I didn’t care as it wasn’t a big deal and not her fault. But at this point she went nuts going on a rant about how it’s a rule and that she can’t do anything about it and its the same for everyone and can’t just be different for me. I had to be like okay, Again, I had said okay??? I didn’t care, I was just confused why and asking. And then after her long outburst telling me off for her own presumptions she said “oh just a lot of people just really annoyed about that”. But I wasn’t, so I’d just received a whole bunch of abuse from staff for literally no reason. She then proceeded to go join her other 2 coworkers and stand in a huddle beside the till and all 3 stood giving me dirty looks until I left the store. Honestly felt like I was...

Me and my partner travelled to Amsterdam last weekend. Terrible service the racism my partner recieved is appalling. My partner approached with myself the drink taste counter a girl was serving the free drinks as we approached she walked away with no explanation. My partner passed a comment nice customer service. the girl just looked at us carried on walking away.

After we ate we went back to browse to purchase goods. There was an older lady blonde hair about 50 plus as we approached she said to my partner no drinks for you you are rude! he was so shocked and said what bearing in mind she was serving an older white gentleman who looked suprised. my partner is Asian born British I'm white myself. My partner said that's great customer service isn't it she responded it's is isn't it great. if she thinks she is getting away with his poor customer service then im talimg it as far as i can she is rude! flybe have been informed I'm taking it to head office too until we get a full apology for her racism and poor customer service! the whole experience was shocking in terminal 3 he was also approached and asked was he an immigrant by a lady stood looking for them??? what is this all about? he is more westernised than me!...

Went into World Duty Free on Friday 7th July early evening to collect an item that I had ordered,couldn’t see a collection desk so I went straight to the tills,only one till open then a young girl came on and opened another till.I gave her my printed out copy of my order,then she wanted to see my email then she wanted my passport as well as boarding pass,do not remember showing all this last time we travelled but I gave her everything she asked for.(Buying beauty products only)Young Asian girl M MUSKAN needs some training in customer service and how to be polite to customers,no smile no please or thank you,no manners whatsoever,I nearly said too her you really don’t want to be here do you but I didn’t. I paid for my order and then she just walked off,RUDE so I helped myself to a bag she then came back and said you cannot have one of those bags and gave me a smaller one,I told her well you just walked off rudely and should of given me a bag. I also work with the general public and would never ever be like this with anyone a smile and manners cost nothing. Next time we travel if I come across her I will definitely say something I am spending a lot of money...
