Went to Trax, we were booked in for 3.30pm expecting to do the 30 mins driving and then eat, got to the desk, one of the two girls had a bit of an attitude, and I was told we had to wait until 5.30 for our driving we arrived at 3.16l5. Really need to be organised when booking people in. The karaoke booths have curtains and was so loud so was hard to hear each other talk. The menus for groupon made no sense and we're an absolute mess. Ordered our drinks, took 20 minutes, I had the old fashioned, which had no bitters or orange peel, my friends tasted of just lemon juice. The food was delicious though. Our waitress was brilliant, the driving was fun but it was only 15 minutes not 30. Would go again but would not pay full price.

The Printworks isn't just a place for food and movies—it’s a full-on sensory experience. The first thing you notice walking in is the massive digital ceiling screen that spans across the central atrium. It plays vibrant visuals, seasonal themes, and ambient light shows that give the whole space an immersive, futuristic vibe—almost like walking into a digital art gallery. The space feels industrial yet modern, with high ceilings, metal walkways, and lighting installations that really bring it to life—especially at night. If you're into digital art, immersive spaces, or just want that "wow" moment for your photos, it's worth a visit for the visuals alone. have to come here again

Printworks Complex: A Premier Entertainment Destination in Manchester

The Printworks complex in Manchester stands as a premier entertainment hub, offering a diverse array of attractions that cater to varied tastes and preferences. Here are several compelling reasons why it's an outstanding destination for entertainment seekers:

  1. Culinary Delights: The complex is a haven for food enthusiasts, boasting a wide selection of dining options. From well-known chain restaurants to unique eateries offering a plethora of international cuisines, visitors can embark on a culinary journey within the Printworks. Each restaurant promises a distinct dining experience, ensuring there's something to please every palate.

  2. Cinematic Bliss: The presence of a cinema within the complex caters to film aficionados. The modern, well-equipped theater screens the latest blockbusters, providing a top-notch movie experience. The convenience of dining options nearby makes it an ideal spot for a complete night out.

  3. Diverse Entertainment Venues: From vibrant bars to live music venues, the Printworks complex offers a wide range of entertainment options. Various bars and clubs within the area ensure that night owls can experience the pulsating nightlife of Manchester, with live music, DJ sets, and an eclectic mix of entertainment.

  4. Convenience and Accessibility: Situated in a central location, the Printworks complex is easily accessible and serves as a prime meeting point. Its proximity to public transportation and the surrounding attractions makes it a convenient choice for locals and tourists alike.

Independent Bars and Clubs Outside Printworks:

While the Printworks complex offers an impressive array of entertainment, I highly recommend exploring the independent bars and clubs outside this area as well. Manchester boasts a dynamic nightlife scene beyond the confines of Printworks, where unique and independent establishments await.

  1. Unique Ambiance: These independent bars and clubs often carry a distinct character and atmosphere, catering to different vibes and tastes. From cozy speakeasies to themed bars, each venue offers a unique experience.

  2. Local Flavor and Character: These off-the-beaten-path establishments frequently showcase local talent, offer craft drinks, and radiate an authentic local charm that might not be as prominent in larger, more commercialized venues.

  3. Variety and Uniqueness: Exploring the bars and clubs outside the Printworks complex adds an element of discovery and adventure. Visitors can stumble upon hidden gems, discovering places with their own niche themes and special offerings.

By venturing beyond the Printworks complex, individuals can truly immerse themselves in the diverse and rich nightlife that Manchester has to offer. Whether it's for a change of pace or to experience the local flavor, the independent bars and clubs outside the complex add another layer of depth and variety to one's...

Last night me and my friend tried to access the premises of this ‘Printworks’ to see a movie at 'Vue' (thank God we didn't buy our tickets online) but were stopped and searched by two security officers. They checked my friend’s belongings because he was carrying a suitcase but didn’t give us an explanation when politely asking them why - we were confused. After one of the security officers checked my friend’s belongings, the other security officer wanted to search through my bag, but it was shocking to see other people pass without being stopped and searched and also carrying belongings. As a result, I felt as if me and my friend were being treated differently. After pointing this out, I apparently had a “bad attitude”. I honestly believe that as a Mixed Black person, I was a victim of conscious or subconscious bias. To elaborate, I was perceived as the ‘angry Black person’ - this is a racial stereotype where it's often non-Black people exaggerating the behaviours and actions of Black people through an inappropriate lens and associating them to something negative, unnecessarily. Anyway, back to topic: We attempted to access the other entrance but I and my friend were hilariously refused entry yet again as another set of security officers somehow knew that I and my friend were the ones who weren't allowed through to begin with - however, they managed to give us an explanation as to why there was a stop and search procedure and that was because there was an active concert taking place, which is understandable. But in all seriousness, sensitive security officers with God complexes like the first lot we came across shouldn't even be in the working position that they are in if they are going to be...
